Lallana has great skills. Thought his shimmies were going to bring a leg crunching tackle

The back 4 were good

Hammond and cork especially were good

Sharp was very good

After all the debates about diving in the media, I'm starting to think that is the only was lambert will win a free kick.

Terrace atmosphere was ok. Been in better. Parked right outside the ground tooo

Got to agree about the atmosphere, lots on here saying how great it was. But to be honest considering the amount we took & the importance

of the game i thought it was poor.

That was a very determined and professional performance from Saints last night. We tore them a new one in the first 10 mins and looked very comfortable throughout most of the game. It was inevitable that Posh would see more of the ball at some stage and they put us under a lot of pressure for the last 20 mins.

When they scored I thought it had been diallowed us the Boro fans started to cheer then went immediatley silent - it was the most muted goal celebration I've seen.

It's difficult to single out palyers when this was a team effort. For me Cork cuaght my eye the most - he's a class act.

I thought the terrace support was excellent last night - almost continuous singing - what more can the fans do (q for those fans who said it wasn't special)?

Great night, great result, great performance by team, coaching staff and fans alike....roll on the north east trip

A little confused about the criticism of the atmosphere..personally i thought it was tops...

A question to those who say it was not that good..please tell us what it should be like to be seen as great in your eyes?

He came on @ 87mins according to the BBC.

All credit to the Saints fans who attended the match tonight - you've all played your part.

But in that time he won the ball at least twice, got in a block and worked hard - did his bit. He wouldn't have done that 6 months ago.

The desire in the team to bounce back from Friday was evident, Jack Cork was immense and Adams control of that high ball worth the admission money alone!

Posh made it easier for us with no crunching tackles (only 13 fouls given, no yellow cards) referee helped the game flow.

The second and third goals were superb moves, shame we didnt go on to fill our boots, but at 3-0 no doubt the 5th game in 15 days came into play.

I feel so much better this morning!!

Chaplow's touch may have been poor in recent games but to say he has no touch or control is just plain wrong. He is clearly improving and getting back to his best, and that only comes from playing in competitive games. He was excellent for us before Xmas, and I feel his return now is timed just right to play an important part in the last two games, and I think Nigel knows it. He brings that edge of urgency when we need it, when a team is getting in our face, he combats it and spoils the oppositions game.

Great away day, thoroughly enjoyable. Chappers, well his work rate was fantastic, tracking back and tackling awsome but his passing and crosses at times were dreadful. He has not regain the form he was in before injury. He has the ability just needs the time to get back to full match fitness and confidence. So get off his back and show your support for Chappers and all the players

Overall wonderful team performnace with soooo many players having great games difficult to choose the MOM.

Roll on Saturday and another 3 pts!!! COYR

Nobody desevers criticism after last night's terrific performance, least of all Chaplow who did exactly what he does best... harried Posh to death and covered every inch of the pitch. And he's not even 100 per cent fit.

We enjoyed our London Road experience, a 'proper' football ground in the old style and as someone else has mentioned friendly and helpful stewards. Long may Posh and the Barnsleys of this world punch above their weight.

Spot on with both points.

Chaplow was great barring the final ball as almost everyone has noted, this will come again with confidence. Think back to him burying his chance against Man Utd in last seasons cup.

London Road was like a time-warp, made The Dell look modern!

Exactly. He is in my opinion a key player for us. it's not just what he brings, it's as much about how he influences the others. Every team needs a player like this. When chris Marsden left Saints that is the moment the decline started. In Chaplow I happen to think we've found a replacement.

I thought the Peterborough players looked half decent, just lack any sort of structure. Shows you what a **** manager the young Fergerson is.

Agree he's a c**k but he's done a good job to be fair. He has had to work within very tight constraints set by the penny-pinching, mick owner and smallish attendances.

He's managed to find decent some players e.g. taylor even while he's been forced to let others go e.g. CMS.

quite the opposite.

lost his better players (bar boyd) got loads of injuries and his target all season was to stay up...and they have already done so and can knock it about nicely

they managed to have 13 shots at us yesterday....9 more than reading...albeit, some of those shots were poor...

for those of you slating Chaplow, how about the 50/60 yard tracking back to stay with the left winger, which earned a pat on the back from butterfield, how about the great defensive sliding tackle on the edge of the area in the first half, resulting in a corner, rather than a shot to save, howabout the tracking back and disposing of the man on the ball at least 2/3 occasions that I can remember. He should have scored today, he also had an opportunity that the ref blew for offside against sharp, despite him not touching the ball.

Chaplow is a quality footballer, who perhaps isnt at the same peak that we saw early on this season, but his presence on the field is huge. He's never afraid to let someone know he is in the game and he will never allow a free header.

Granted, he did concede possession a few times in the second half, some of which we his fault, and some of which were players not moving into the obvious position to receive the ball. (Lambert acknowledged one to him with his hand up).

He was not poor today, I would perhaps give him a 6 out of 10, but would give the midfield accolades to Hammond and Cork, who bossed it

I agree with all of that. I thought Chappers and Butterfield had great games.

I thought given the importance of the game and the defeat from previouse game the players did very well. It was a good solid performance with more bite (Chaplow)in Saints closing down of players.

For me the atmospher was brillaint, was right behined the goal and plenty of noise from us, at times non stop.

I thought the atmosphere was good given we were pretty much singing on our own all match. Rarely have a great atmosphere when you face fans as quiet as as Pboro's!
