Fair play to you. That's proper support unlike the plastic tw*ts that can't be bothered as it's on the TV.

See you up there.

You are the tw*t for making the remark. A lot of people can't go due to work, no money, or other reasons.

But more have said "that's a long way for a game thats on telly!" My responce...?

"Good job that over three thousand people disagree with you."

As you're clearly hard of thinking I'll make it easy for you. Those who choose not to go, simply because it's on the telly, not for any other reason, such as death, births, marriages, being unemployable etc are tw ats.

I give not one flying fu ck if that offends or not.

Taking a hit on this one and staying away from it, was going to stay up for the weekend but this years record of staying away reads:

Bristol L

Brighton L

Blackpool L

I just can't ruin the day for everyone so I am staying as far away from it as I can, plus I blew my budget on Blackpool and Palace as I thought we would be up at the Reading game and Middlesboro would be a formalilty!!!

Still hope everyone has a great day out and brings back the win, promotion and headaches!!!

Yes, but Middlesbrough doesn't begin with a B, so it would've been ok to stay up there.*

* Unless you call them 'Boro.

This type in 48 hours we can be in the premier league . I still have to sort out some where to stay. Where are my fellow saints fans staying Saturday night

Thanks for posting this, I had a good laugh at many of the posts! The OP's has a great sense of humour.

As for the posting about fans going or not, I take my hat off to every single fan that goes all that way to support Saints. On the other hand, many of us that can't go are still supporting Saints, even sat in front of the TV. I've done my share of supporting Saints away in my younger days and the fact that I only do 2-3 games away, does that make me less of a fan?

Get a grip, lifes not that simple for many.

Please keep to the topic of the game build up. The 'hardcore vs plastic' debate is quite tedious. Saints fans support their team in their own way, please respect that.

Can't see us not winning this. The players seem well up for these last 2 games. This game is a bit like the Plymouth game last season, and tbh they had more to play for than Boro do. We'll get no less than 4 points from these last 2 games. Hopefully Coventry will be relegated tomorrow then next week becomes a bit easier

I prefer it when your a negative fecker, we normally win then.

Much needed light relief. Brilliant black humour.

Have a new found respect for their fans. Not sure we'd take their situation with such good humour - and can you imagine the flak on here if you dared make light of it...

Finished for the day, but I managed a decent shift this morning,it's no biggy, we're up anyway, just a case of tomorrow,Monday or next week. All roads lead to Rome sort of thing.

I think it's massive. A win at Boro would be an amazing experience for the fans who have travelled up and down the country, and the team will want promotion to come off the back of a result, and on TV, that's a massive incentive.

It would be gutting to lose out on any chance of the title, or getting promoted due to West Ham f*cking up. As someone else said elsewhere, if we get promotion on Monday due to anothert West Ham slip up, it'll be all about how West Ham made it easy for us and how they failed with the squad they've got etc...

Ooooh we're so close I can taste the Premier League! It's like candy floss! Bright and shiny and delicious at first but then you pretty soon had enough and it's sickly and synthetic and overpriced and you just wish you could have a nice meat pie or something. Meat pie is Championship for the purposes of this analogy. League 1 was Pot Noodle.

I've had this problem around the time of each of the last 3 massive games... Forget about it for a minute, thought comes back, stomach turns over, rush of excitement, start again 10 mins later, realise i've still not done any work, repeat, repeat...

As my gf says "I'll be glad when this season's over"... We don;t agree on our reasons though :)

Firstly, you're wrong. My family also live in Cheshire

Secondly where have I questioned his passion for saints? I haven't you're arguing over something I didn't say.

Finally, I did say 'shocker' as it is not a shock that he is being questioned for being childish. He can be childish at times, my point is so what? It is not a surprise.

Now why don't you move on to the people that called him a twa t?

Guess I should have read the whole thread then, that's the trouble with being just a part timer, you may want to edit your post a bit.

Can't take the risk, as most people call them 'Boro!!

It would be selfish to ruin 2,999 other peoples day!!!

no wonder they took so bloody long to serve everyone. Bastard opening those little sachets. Nearly missed our goal just after half time.

I'm working as per, so I can't even watch this on the TV. I'll be Sky+ing it, ready to watch when I get home, and hoping no c*nt at work tells me the score!

Am actually Buzzing for this tbh as I've done nearly all the one's in the North East apart from Boro n Darlington so can tick Boro

off my list of grounds!

Will also be arriving by Coach with my Mate n am hoping to get a Drink either before or at half time as well which would be

Good!!!

Am also thinking of sticking with the same team but bring in Schneiderlin & Richardson if fit But we'l see and am going to go for

3-1 again with goals from Lambert, Lalanna n Sharp/Hooiveld for Saints n Emnes/Robson for Boro n whatever happens it should

be a Top Day and hopefully get Promoted aswell!!!

See ya up there tomorrow!!!

COYR!!! :D

I did miss our goal just after half time and only had about two mouthfuls of the pot noodle before I heard the cheering, dropped it and ran to join in the celebrations!

You're not wrong... I had to do the same thing with the Reading match, and sped it up x2 whilst singing the Benny Hill theme tune, to keep things interesting!
