Where will the radio listeners be tonight be tonight and how will we cope?

Unfortunately I can't be there tonight but have been to a 9 or 10 games this season including Pompey twice so I'll be feeling the tension too.On my return from work, I'll be putting my 3 year old girl to bed (hopefully by 7.30pm) as the Mrs is away at Zumba and then I'll be straight to the garage (drinking den) armed with 4 beers, 10 malborough lights and my digital radio. That's my evening planned, just thought it'd be interesting to hear from the fellow radio/saints player listeners?

I'm going for 1-3 saints and a West Ham 2-0 win.

I am at work when the game is being played, so I remote in to my home PC, record the live stream on Saints Player as an MP3, then when both myself and my wife get home from work, we have dinner then play the game. Yes we both jump out of our seats, swear at the ref, curse at Merrington whenever he says a dumb ass comment, and generally have all the highs and lows that everyone else does during a game. The fact I am now an hour north of San Francisco makes no difference at all. My wife (who comes from here), cried after the Reading game (which we watched on tv), and it killed our weekend (as it awlways does if the result does not go our way). Several thousand miles makes no difference to how a lifelong Saints fan (I am now 51) reacts to a game. COYR!!!!

I shall be in my study and if it's as cold as yesterday I'll be sitting in front of a big log fire.

Snowed again last night, only 10 days ago everybody was in their summer clothes already.

Global warming.. my ass.

Anyway I shall probably have just the one tinny of Carrefour's finest because I start work pretty early every day, 'bout 4.30 am UK time.

Haven't talked her into dressing up as a slutty nun whilst you're both listening yet then :?

Think only DP has managed that so far.

Pretty much the same but without the fags and booze (more like coffee and biscuts:blush:)

Will tune in from work, but then I will have to go pick up he kids from school and miss the last 20-25 minutes. I hate the tension as I run into the house and look at the laptop screen for the moment of truth. Last week it was...3-1 WTF!?!?!?! Was hoping we'd have gone on from equalising to win the damn game....very nervous for tonight....

At work 6 - 8.30 pm, no radio, no internet. Drive home listening to Radio 5Live Extra (thank the Lord for in car DAB radios), switching now and again to Radio London to pick up the WHU score.

Hoping Saints are 0-4 up* by half time so I won't cause a road rage/elation incident if/when Posh/Saints score 2nd half.

I'm stuck in Devon working nights, re-wiring a school. I shall be using the school wifi to listen to 5live extra through my phone, and get regular score updates. Got a West Ham fan and a Bristol City fan so I'm expecting a lot of shouting and excitement.

Football league regulations concerning live broadcasting no doubt.

But if I had a radio I could listen. I don;t get it.

Anyone know of a 'back door' method. I can't cope with Sky's Score Centre and messages from mates at the ground are about 10 minutes out of date.

When we moved down here I planned to go to quite a few away but the ****ers who promised me plenty of work, leading to a pay rise and ft contract have renaged. We'll be fine but penny's to rub together have been needed for other luxuries like burger puffs and beer recently.

But if everybody could just listen to games on the radio online they couldn't make us pay up for the player network now could they.Guess it brings in a bit of revenue for the clubs especially from those of us who don't live locally and can't get FM reception .

At the end of the day it's about money, if you live in the local radio's reception area you can listen for free, if you don't you can't.Simple as that. Can't you get an old tranny to listen with, everyone has a beat up old thing somewhere or an old car radio and a 12 volt battery?

I'm in Kent now.

I'll live but do think that it's unfair and a restriction that is contrary to my human rights.

well we all listen on player and the match thread keeps ya pretty much up to date as it happens.

Some with a player lag even get news of the incidents before player tells them they've happened.

I'll be listening at home in Buenos Aires, on SaintsPlayer, as usual.

Went to a bar to see the Reading game stream on a big screen on Friday with another Saints fan here (posts as Rojiblanco) which was a nice change, but won't go back there now as I'm already convinced the bar is bad luck. Will have to find another venue for Middlesbrough on TV at the weekend...

Against my better judgement and due to some really positive comments I'm going to embrace it fully follow skysports and keep updating the bbc championship page on iPad and enjoy the ride! At least we're looking up not staring into Div 1 abyss...:)

I'll be here, posting your usual heat of the moment comments when someone misplaces a pass ;). Solent on via my Pure radio in the background, cranked up loud.

It's going to be an exciting night, we might fight ourselves in exactly the same position or we might find ourselves all but promoted. Belive!

They're broadcasting our game on 5live, so there should be audio streams available for those without Saints Player. Fwiw, I'll be in a university library, 'working'.

You beauty, thanks Ludwig.

It's on the 5live EXTRA site though:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/5livesportsextra/commentaries/

The main site,5live, has the Reading vs Forest match:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/5livesportsextra/commentaries/

It appears that they kick off 15 minutes after us, I like to think that this will inspire the players to put extra pressure on Reading knowing that we are back on top and hopefully they will crumble like a pile if Jenga blocks.

i will be sat on the bed with my laptop & headphones in, listening to DM spouting gooble-de-gook.

WHEN Saints score no doubt i will holler loudly & scare the cat sh*tless thus putting me in gf's bad books again

Would suggest you put the cat out first thus avoiding gf's wrath!
