Saw him at The Anvil last night. Absolutely brilliant! Having seen a lot of comedy recently (Frankie Boyle, Russell Howard, Jo Caulfield, Andy Parsons, Lucy Porter, Milton Jones etc) I thought he was the funniest and he managed it with resorting to (too much) bad language or bad taste. Well worth catching up with.

I work behind a bar on Saturday night where there is a comedy club 8:30-10:30. had a mystery guest on last night, turned out to be Robin Willaims, true story.

I can't stand McIntyre. Whenever I see him on Mock the Week or 8 out of 10 Cats, I find him so tedious and just not funny at all.

There's just something about his camp, attention seeking persona which makes everything he says not funny. Bit like Alan Carr.

He seems to try a bit too hard IMO. And he's one of those people that has to hold himself back from laughing at his own jokes.

I saw him 'Live' at the Appollo on TV the other night and he was quite funny, but I agree on Mock the Week he's rarely funny at all.

Alan Carr is a ****.
