Coventry Tickets Sought

Imagine there will be plenty of spares cropping up if we're play off bound come this game.

We won't be though tbf, what ever happens we take it to the last day. Even if we lose 2 and WHU win 2 then we need to win and Hull to beat them heavily for us to finish 2nd. Obviously that scenario is a nightmare scenario, but we'll be fighting until the last day.

We lose tomorrow 2-0, lose 3-0 at Boro. WHU win both their games 5-0 we will be play off bound (good as) before the Cov game.

I think I've got two spare tickets. Not entirely sure as when I ordered online, it said 'time out' so continued to order, same result. Then 2 hours later got confirmation saying ticket order confirmation!!

I think I may have a few spares, will post them on here if I do.

Can I bag one please if you do? Cheers mate!

Have bought a flight from Dublin early on the Saturday morning, what a schoolboy error to fail to make sure of a ticket in time. (to be honest I was so low after Friday night that I put all matters saints related to the back of my mind)

Needless to say I would happily pay face value for any ticket in addition to a substantial gratuity in favour of the charity of vendor's choice

Waiting for confirmation but due to 1 x Grandson being dragged to some stupid wedding I will have a spare childs ticket. No promises just yet.

The seat would be with myself plus grandson number 2 and his friend. Best option would be for someone already in the Itchen who can accompany said child to seat and be there for him when we all (hopefully) head pitchwards at the final whistle. I can accept no resposibility whatsoever for anyone else's childs safety, sorry.

Face value £15.

PS

Said child must not be sensitive to foul and abusive language.

He should just refuse to go ,nothing wrong with getting your priorities right at the earliest age.:scared:

One of ours refused to go to his gran's funeral, said it was a load of bullsh*t and it wouldn't bring his Gran back, must have been about 10 at the time.Just let him go to schoool as per usual if I remember correctly.Mind you I had no excuse for insisting having ducked a sister in law's wedding to go to Stamford Bridge in 76.

Just spoke to GS2 to tell him I got the tickets and he is so excited. At the time he was also chatting to GS1 via Xbox chat. GS1 reckons that he aint going to no stupid wedding.

They don't see each other often and with the added advantage of us having somewhere to crash (house-sitting) it would be a good solution on other levels. I am not looking after their stupid dogs though, no way jose.

Hi guys, was unaware the tickets were selling out, have been to most games that the plastic fans filling the stadium wouldn't dream of doing !Willing to offer £30 each for 2/3 tickets in blocks 1-4 or 36-42 , thanks, emails - nhammond21@gmail.com

Well you just talked yourself out of getting one off me. It doesn't matter one jot who goes to what games, its none of your business.

I MAY have ONE spare. I won't know until the week of the game. I will post back here when I know more.

It does matter. I'd much rather be stood next to someone that's gone to plenty of games home and away rather than some pr*ck that's decided he'll just turn up when things are getting good.

Can we have a thread where those requesting tickets are copied to the OP with their requirement ie how many, stand etc please?

As and when they get tickets they can be removed

Good idea?

People can still do their pleading but it will be easier to sift through a simplified list.

Why didn't people buy Ipswich or Barnsley tickets, even if they couldn't go?

They would have paid £27 for a ticket they didn't use, but would now have a Cov ticket.

I went to both of those games (in fact the only home games i've missed this season have been Blackpool, Derby and Bristol City because I was working) but my mate sorts out the tickets for us to go and he mistimed it all.

Will be absolutely gutted if I miss this one. I may even shed a little tear.

Sorry, sold to a man in Dubai.

Did he caddy for Tiger by any chance? Disregard my PM then.

IN OTHER NEWS, 2X TICKETS STILL REQUIRED!

PM me or email michaelmacdonald59@hotmail.com - I will happily pay a bit extra on top for any lovely people that may have spares. Doesn't matter if they're together or not, just that we can both get into the ground!

Think it was the fact he could stop at Duty Free that clinched it. ;)

That and being quick off the mark!

Aw come on it just seems to need a bit of gumption and a bit of guile.

Surely if you have a Midlands based friend or relation you can register at Coventry and buy a ticket.

They seem to be still selling them.

Cov have sold all theirs apparently - the ones that they didn't sell were sent back to the club and those were the extra ones that were released on Monday to Saints fans.

I don't know then, if you look at the "buy tickets" section of their OS there's a buy tickets button for the Saints game, didn't check any further than that cos I can't go anyway.

Anyway according to the Coventry OS tickets for Saints-Coventry are on sale and will be until either the 27th April or they sell out.

There's a green square against most categories which would indicate to me that they have tickets still, they may have sent whole blocks back to us because they weren't shifting them quickly enough but nowhere does it say that they are sold out.

If you're desperate to be there (and who wouldn't be except those who absolutely can't) I'd think you can get a ticket from Cov,

club probably wouldn't agree with me though.

I phoned up the ticket office and asked what the date was that Cov were sending back any unsold tickets, they said that they did it on Monday. Buying a ticket in with the Cov fans is a last resort for me tbh, I doubt they'll be too ready to sell tickets to first-time buyers for a sold out game to a person with an address in Southampton ;)

Thanks for the tip though, i'll definitely get a ticket in with them if there are some left and no spares come my way in with the Saints fans before this time next week.

No but you haven't really thought this through. If Coventry sent back tickets they would be for entire blocks that can be sectioned off like 43/44 etc. They may still have tickets within the blocks that they have retained, yes you'd be in with them but we've all done that in case of desperation haven't we? Anyway they're harmless it's not Skates or West Ham.

They say up until Friday week, needs one of the Midlands baseders to just ring up and ask them.
