If you were offered 3 points clear of West Ham with 3 to go and them needing to play Leicester and Hull at the start of the season you'd have snapped their hand off. Saint should win 2/3 and so should West Ham, puts you 3 points clear.

The fact remains that if we want to go up we need to win 2 and draw one of our games end of. We do not want a scoring contest on the last game of the season or there will be more heart failures that afternoon than the medics can keep up with.

Forget goal difference we need to win

I have already pointed this out but have been shouted down.

West Ham haven't even had to play well to be winning....thats the gutting part.

With what I saw for 10 minutes West Ham would still be winning 3-0 even if they hadn't even turned up yet.Brighton just gifted them 3 goals..absolute giveaways.

As it stands Peterborough will be mathematically safe. A small positive.

Bristol City could also ensure survival if they beat West Ham on Tuesday as it stands...

Pompey down as it stands? I was hoping Coventry would stay up but as it stands I now think they need to be relegated by the time they come to SMS as it could well come down to the final game at this rate.

When did Green suddenly get good!? Damn!!

Always been a decent keeper, judged on a mistake or two he made for England but that's something that happens England keepers, must be something they put in the tea.

To be fair to myself, I rarely make serious posts. ;)

At the end of day, the bottom line is, it really doesnt matter what any other team does. Lets face it Brighton blew it inside the first 10 minutes - WHU are likely to rack up a cricket score, and their confidence will be sky high. None of it matters so long as we win all of our games. Now is the business end of the season, it's in our hands - only we can blow it.
