Does this mean that one more win will guarantee us promotion? With PeBo, Cov and Borough coming up I cant see that being a huge challenge (I see 6points from these). If this is correct hen we really arnt in a bad position, going up 1st or 2nd really doesnt matter, its all about getting in the prem! UTS!
S-Clarke Posted 14 April, 2012 Posted 14 April, 2012 Don't forget WHU have 4 games left, so they can achieve 88 points maximum. We can achieve 91 points - so to make 100% sure we need 2 wins and a draw, but I don't think it'll take that much personally.

Basically any West Ham defeat will mean we only need one win to go up on GD - unless they thrash someone or we get stuffed.

We need 2 wins 1 draw. 1 win against Posh, draw at Boro and Win at Cov. anything less and we could be in big trouble as our GD is no longer an advantage. We're still be ok though I reckon. Our lads will be well up for this, trust them....they'll get us over the line. I can't wait to see WHU cockup the playoffs.

But they won today and made up loads of goal differerence going to be an interesting few games. having not been to the new Wembley perhaps a playoff Final would be pretty good
hackedoff Posted 14 April, 2012 Posted 14 April, 2012 I know this sounds negative, but I really think we have blown it. Two wins and a draw now probably required- not going to happen. To win the play-offs requires bottle, nerve determination and luck, I believe we will be found wanting there also.
