ozzmeister Posted 14 April, 2012 Share Posted 14 April, 2012 Correct me if I am wrong. We have three games left are 6 point in front of Westham (7 effectively with goal difference). Does this mean that one more win will guarantee us promotion? With PeBo, Cov and Borough coming up I cant see that being a huge challenge (I see 6points from these). If this is correct hen we really arnt in a bad position, going up 1st or 2nd really doesnt matter, its all about getting in the prem! UTS!
S-Clarke Posted 14 April, 2012 Share Posted 14 April, 2012 Don't forget WHU have 4 games left, so they can achieve 88 points maximum. We can achieve 91 points - so to make 100% sure we need 2 wins and a draw, but I don't think it'll take that much personally.

Glasgow_Saint Posted 14 April, 2012 Share Posted 14 April, 2012 If we won 1 and WH won 4 what would happen?
dune Posted 14 April, 2012 Share Posted 14 April, 2012 WHU play today, should they lose then 1 more win will be enough, should they win the pressure is on, but it's on for them too. They need 4 straight wins IMO to stand a chance.
Thedelldays Posted 14 April, 2012 Share Posted 14 April, 2012 west ham will drop points against leicester...I am almost sure of it..Pearson has them bang on form that means west ham will get (IMO) 10 more points at the most we may do it by the odd goal if west ham lose another game...it will be all over IMO if they lose today, I think I will throw up

S-Clarke Posted 14 April, 2012 Share Posted 14 April, 2012 I think they will. We have to win our 3 games ideally ! Stop being silly. We don't need to win 3. That would give us 91 points, West ham can only get 88 maximum. HTH!
Saint_clark Posted 14 April, 2012 Share Posted 14 April, 2012 If they lose today then the OP is correct, as they won't make up the goal difference.
Dog Posted 14 April, 2012 Share Posted 14 April, 2012 We ****ed it up last night, played brilliant and lost. Peterboro are good at home and it will go to the last game where we'll do Cov to go up and send then down. But after last night I am starting to twitch in my arse. S-Clarke Posted 14 April, 2012 Share Posted 14 April, 2012 7 points now, totally turned after this weekend. We need 2 wins 1 draw. 1 win against Posh, draw at Boro and Win at Cov. anything less and we could be in big trouble as our GD is no longer an advantage. We're still be ok though I reckon. Our lads will be well up for this, trust them....they'll get us over the line. I can't wait to see WHU cockup the playoffs.

RobM Posted 14 April, 2012 Share Posted 14 April, 2012 Oddly, todays result could be a good thing for us. It might bring out the fighting spirit and determination we've not always seen, which can bring that extra few percent out of our players. It has always been ours to lose, it still is. Big_Bald_Si Posted 14 April, 2012 Share Posted 14 April, 2012 Absolutely sh1tting it now. I can't make the last game of the season and would quite like it all sewed up at Boro by the very least!
John B Posted 14 April, 2012 Share Posted 14 April, 2012 If they lose today then the OP is correct, as they won't make up the goal difference. But they won today and made up loads of goal differerence going to be an interesting few games. having not been to the new Wembley perhaps a playoff Final would be pretty good
hackedoff Posted 14 April, 2012 Share Posted 14 April, 2012 I know this sounds negative, but I really think we have blown it. Two wins and a draw now probably required- not going to happen. To win the play-offs requires bottle, nerve determination and luck, I believe we will be found wanting there also.
