Out of the current squad who do you think would hack it in the Prem?

 

For me:

 

1. Kelvin - has at least two more seasons left as a top keeper

3. Fox - Has a wonderful left foot when he has time on the ball and set pieces

4. Cork -still young, fantastic heart and will only get better

6. Jos - Best central defender we have had since Killer IMO

7. Lambert - one of the best English forwards around right now

8. Schneiderlin - not a massive fan myself but he has got better and better this season.

11. Lallana - been Prem quality for years. Inconsistent and not the biggest build probably the reasons why nobody has made a massive bid for him thus far.

 

IMO we would need to replace Fonte, get a top quality RB, a ball winning CM, an out and out pace merchant up front (in the Henri Camara mould) and RM.

Bit premature, maybe. and a little bit harsh on Fonte, people are jumping on his back a bit tonight after his horror show but he's not a bad defender at all - he'd do a job up there, no worries.

 

Fox is decent, but I have question marks over him up against top players. He seems to have lapses which will get punished time and time again in the premier league.

 

The main priority for me is to sign a proper attacking midfielder, someone who can score loads of goals from midfield. They'd go onto the right side of the diamond. Our right side is so disjointed at the mo, Chaplow is the cloest player we have to making us 'tick' down that side.

 

We do need another striker too, not sure it's out and out pace...but someone with guile and quality - who is young enough to improve. Someone like Jay Rodriquez would be excellent.
