beermatt1 Posted 17 April, 2012 Posted 17 April, 2012 In my ever so wishful thinking, i put a £2 bet on Reading and West Ham to lose and Saints to win tonight. Got 46/1 on it. You should have gone to Skybet - I did the same this morning but got 61/1 on it. Might as well have been 60,000/1 as results like that do not happen for Saints do they?!

Might as well have been 60,000/1 as results like that do not happen for Saints do they?! oooh sharp cut in the odds, perhaps they've got inside info that West Ham and Reading are both going to throw it.:D

Might as well have been 60,000/1 as results like that do not happen for Saints do they?! Chuck 3 players that are most unlikely to score against us into that Bet and probably will get 60,000/1 as that does always bloody happen to us!
patred44 Posted 17 April, 2012 Posted 17 April, 2012 leaving to go to the match in couple hours so I'm going to leave my lucky woot on here now

Short memory alert ... surely you haven't forgotten already the number of Saturday nights / midweek evenings that we have sat here this season and said 'Results really went for us today/tonight'?
Matthew Le God Posted 17 April, 2012 Posted 17 April, 2012 i predict GOALS. Peterborough haven't had a 0-0 in a league game for 118 matches!
beermatt1 Posted 17 April, 2012 Posted 17 April, 2012 Short memory alert ... surely you haven't forgotten already the number of Saturday nights / midweek evenings that we have sat here this season and said 'Results really went for us today/tonight'? All of those days seem like a massively distant memory now though, almost like they never really happened. It is the next three games that really count and I can't think of anything but those games! And I really can't imagine they are going to go as well as we all hope they will. Realistically we could be 7 hours away from the Premier League (subject to big swings in goal difference) but we all know it will probably go down to the last 10 minutes of the Coventry game before our fate is decided.
itchen_dan Posted 17 April, 2012 Posted 17 April, 2012 How is going away to a team in 18th with nothing to play for tougher than going to a team in 7th who need to win to make the play offs? They like to attack, They have threats all over and I think it's mentally more challenging to go to a team struggling rather than a team on a similar keel to us. The players need to rid any complacency from their minds and need to focus on getting a job done. We need to make sure we don't drop down to their level and stay switched on at all times. Gonna be difficult but i'm confident
alpine_saint Posted 17 April, 2012 Posted 17 April, 2012 (edited) I have some good news for the site. I have to leave in about an hour for an overnight hospital stay, part of my latest therapy, so I will not be on the match thread. In fact, because of the strict hopsital regime, I might not find out the result until tomorrow. Not looking forward to a sleepless night.... Anyway, good luck to the team COYS WIFM Edited 17 April, 2012 by alpine_saint
James Posted 17 April, 2012 Posted 17 April, 2012 Everyone thought millwall would be a pushover it wasn't, neither will this one. Our defence worries me at the moment. Such poor defending against Reading. I'm very nervous about this as can't see the Hammers or reading dropping any points until the end of the season let alone tonight.

Window Cleaner Posted 17 April, 2012 Posted 17 April, 2012 looks like the same team and the same bench, just have to see how that goes for us, seems to be a bit of dissent on Twitter but it'll probably be AOK. Chaplow really, really needs to keep his calm though, bet the other knob has plans to wind him up.
S-Clarke Posted 17 April, 2012 Posted 17 April, 2012 On the bench for Saints tonight are: Richardson, Harding, Guly, Martin and De Ridder
