I thought we would beat Reading. I was more confident than I had been in a long time, but nope - we messed up.

For some reason I think we will beat Posh too, but when I am confident we mess up so dont know WTF to think.

Personally I would drop Fox. IMHO he needs a kick up the ar$e. His recent performances have been very poor. Also be tempted to bring Puncheon back & play Chaplow in the middle at the expense of Hammond.

But that is all b0ll0ocks too!!!!

Why is being a Saints fan so hard???

In the terraces tomorrow after sitting in the seats last year which were the very worst I have ever sat in!!

Come on Saints - win!!!

Chaplow isn't great in the middle and Harding had an absolute knightmare at Peterborough last year do not sure I agree with u!

Reading will win there 2 games this week and draw v Birmingham

West Ham will win their last 3

We need 7 points to go up. A win v Posh is a MUST! otherwise some serious pressure is placed upon us and it's clear that we aren't coping well with the pressure at the moment

I think we are handling the pressure very well actually, yes we lost to Reading but we played them off the park for large parts of the game. Peterborough wont contain us and Middlesbrough will find us a very tough task again, Coventry? Well no disrespect but we will beat them comfortably. I don't think pressure is an issue, every now and then we lose a game, it happens to everyone.

I hear you, but someone needs to have a word with Fox. His crossing, passing & his lack of desire to go past Lallana is causing us problems. And I thought Hammond was terrible against Reading. His passing was shocking. Its as if the pressure has got to the pair of them as neither of them are bad players at all.

As I said, its probably all b0ll0cks!!!! Saints f u c k with your mind!!!!

Also think we are due a bit of luck!!

The opinion of an overweight fecktard who has never attended a game is not important, you are a pathetic whingeing whining tart, nobody takes your opinions seriously. You should spend less time on here and more time in the gym. Personally I think the government should introduce a 'Fat tax' to sort idle fat feckers like you. Anyway we will win promotion soon and you will crawl back into your larder.

You get a much better idea of how things are if you look at the performances. We were poor at Blackpool, who tactically got the better of us that day. It was a terrible pitch and without Lambert we weren't able to go direct, whereas Blackpool with 2 pacey and skillful wingers were able to get in behind us early rather than trusting a bobbling pitch. Even then if Sharp had scored the penalty it would have been a different game and we still did manage to create chances. Pompey was very simple. We were by far the better side, the only reason we didn't win is because of two wonder goals. Crystal Palace was one of the most assured, confident and controlled displays of the season, without being flashy, and everyone who watched the Reading game knows that if our finishing had been at it's normal level we would have won the game.

4 points from 12 hasn't been great, but there has been very little wrong with the performances, and very little to suggest we aren't coping with the pressure

I always find it funny how if we lose a game, then the whole team needs changing....No it doesn't we controlled the game and with better finishing we could have been 4-0 up in the first half. Keep positive, be patient and we will win the game, there is no reason to change anyone, apart from possible Chaplow, but I personally think that he gives us that bit of bite in midfield that we dont have anywhere else, also with him not getting on with Ferguson, no doubt he'll score again. Is it 3 in 3 against him so far ?

yep and last August we were level with 23 other cubs having just been promoted from a lower league and now we are 3 points off top spot, 3 above 3rd, with 3 to play - no one who calls himself a saints fan cn consider that a failure whatever happens over the last 3 games - if we dont make it I will be a ****ed off, dissapoint as everyone else, but I wont consider the side to have failed or 'feck up'....

I didn't say we weren't in a great position, I said we aren't coping with the pressure. Throughout the season when the pressure has been minimal, we've been fine, but now that it's the business end of the season, and the pressure is high, we aren't really coping

Would not start De Ridder, no chance

This.

Although he offers a bit of a threat, our team looked so much more unballanced with him in the side. We controlled it much more and had a better shape with Chaplow in there - even though he didn't have his best game.

Positivity alert....:scared:

When we were going well I thought Nige suggesting that we don't worry about what else is going on was a bit off the mark.

But he's right.

West Ham can do what they like, no need worrying about that in advance.

We need to ignore all the complications gathering around the run-in, all the negativity, all the worrying that many of us are guilty of.

We have a simple plan....

Beat Pboro, draw a line, back on the bus, everyone row it to Mboro, same again.

I'm not saying it's easy, but it's simple, and we are capable of it.

Nutshell - are the others experiencing the same doubts?..yep. Are we in the second best position to do something about it?...yep. Is our destiny in our own hands? yep...etc, etc

Apologies if this has been asked before, but can you pay on the gate tomorrow night? Tempted to take the day off....

You can ring up Saints, pay for your ticket, and they will bring it on the coach and you can collect it at London Road.

If fit:

Davis

Richardson

Fonte

Hooiveld

Fox

Chaplow

Cork

Schneiderlin

Lallana

Lambert

Sharp

Bart, Martin, Hammond, De Ridder, Guly

I only say Bart because I don't think it's worth the risk considering none of the other potential subs are likely to be required.

Anyone know what the parking's like around the ground?

Plenty of street parking in easy walking distance plus a couple of car parks,

Can't remember what it's called but there's a pub on the opposite side of the road to the ground next to the KFC where it was friendly and full of both sets of fans last year.

It would be great if we can sell out our full allocation at Peterborough, does anyone have any idea how many are tickets are left?

When i rung up earlier they said somewhere around the 400 mark (terrace tickets) left.

The fact i can't make the play off final is making me even more nervous ffs.

Seems like the Clot is planning to go easy on Reading as well -sigh-

Don't worry Clotterball is a tactical genius and a master of mind games so I'm predicting a huge Forest win after which Reading implode. We take the title and West Ham go up in second.......

Seriously though, I'd love it, just love it if Forest get absolutely dominated but somehow sneak a win with their only shot on target. Can't see it obviously.

Its the hope that kills you isn't it?! I'm praying away for Reading to some how lose a game and us to win our 3 and take the title on GD! but I can't see my way past 3 wins for Reading based on the teams they have left to play and those teams lack of anything to play for! I'd just LOVE it if Dexter Blackstock scored said single shot! Come on you forest!

I think you just have to accept that we lost the title on Friday night and move on to automatic promotion as the target.

Forest won't be good enough to trouble Reading, we weren't,West Ham weren't so what hope is there for a pile of shîte like Forest?

Not true our mid season blip was far worse than this both result and performance wide we have afterall lost only 2 in the last 16 to Reading and Blackpool

We were under strength at Blackpool and unlucky with Reading end of!
