WHU will win tomoz, and we'll be 3 points ahead. We've got everything to be positive about. We built up a lead and we can afford a few slips. They can't. Keep the faith.

Absolutely this. That's the whole point of a points cushion.

As it stands we have a six point cushion on West Ham. We don't need to maintain a six point cushion for the rest of the season. We just have to finish the league above West Ham. None of you whinging tw at s would swap with West Ham now would you?

We're in a great position, we're playing well, and this is in our hands.

Roll on Peterborough away.

I'm always disappointed after a defeat and sometimes really p*ssed off, but not tonight. We played great football, defended well. They took their chances and we were wasteful. Chance of a title probably wasted. Next mission: promotion!

We could have had 3 before they got their first gift, and forget the third, conceding in added time when chasing an equaliser is just rubbing salt in the wounds. For most of the match we dominated and they defended in depth, we managed plenty of clear chances on goal but didn't quite have the sights set correctly; the early deflection off Gorkss could have crept in by the post, Jos had 2 or 3 clear unmarked headers, as did Adam, plus his cross/chip which just got tippped over.

I do think we became a bit predictable late on, how many deep crosses to the far post came in from the right hand side whilst they had everybody behind the ball ?

Overall, if we can put in this level of performance in the last 3 games I can't see a problem with acheiving automatic promotion, and we could even get 3 wins, and remember, after Brighton, Wet Sham still have to go away to Brizzle and Leicester.

West Ham v Brighton - West Ham Win

Bristol City v West Ham - West Ham Win

Leicester v West Ham - draw

West Ham v Hull - draw

West Ham 8 points

Peterborough v Southampton - Saints win

Middlesborough v Southampton - Middlesbough win

Southampton v Coventry - Saints win

Southampton 6 points

Southampton 88 points

West Ham 84

I think we can even do with a draw at Posh and West Ham to beat Hull on the final day and we will still go up on goal difference.

just love how on this forum....people just throw in the towel.

who is to say forest or brum won't beat reading

or leicester won't beat west ham (very possible)

I think that Brighton could draw with West Ham, and west ham could ven slip up to Bristol City, and Leicester. It is possible for us to go up by just beating Cov.

We p*ss around with the football too much. reading showed how to attack with pace and a direct style. Yes we had 12 shots on target to their 4 but how many times did we cutback or take two touches when it was crying out for a first to ball and simple one touch football

Billy Sharp was a waste of space today - we're desperate for a striker with pace, power and height to lead the line. It's not that he's a bad player - he just doesn't have the physical attributes we need upfront

Personally i like the way we play and would much rather that than the Reading way.

Both teams can't sit back and try to hit each other on the break!

Thought we were good tonight, if we'd have scored first then Reading would have had to change their style but never mind..onwards and upwards. Confident if we play like that for the next three games we will be fine.
