Taken over by Royals, they're not in friendly mood. One of them swung for me when I offered a handshake. Be warned.

Been in here for a while and they seem ok. Loud but why not.
Maybe I was just unlucky! They are putting on a good chorus, just didn't expect that hostility.

I take it back some guy has just tried to give us stick too.

I work with a huge Reading fan who seemed to think today that a load of their fans had been in Southampton since 1pm.. In my experience, football fans being in an opposing city for that long through an afternoon normally leads to.. Lets say.. Friendly banter!

Heavy police presence outside now. All seems quiet.

It'll pick up again in a minute when everyone in there has stopped posting on their clubs' respective internet message boards.

I used to always go in yates until the sheff utd game on the last day of the season a few years ago when I was told sorry away fans only! Haven't been in since

They have departed now. It was only thirty or so, the coppers outside have contained them. Now following them down to St Mary's. Just proof that every fanbase has it's w@nkers.

Someone on Twitter (not the most reliable source, I know) said she saw two Reading fans deck a Saints fan for no(?) reason. Not sure what's happening...

Also from Twitter, Rickie Lambert's name was roundly booed by the Reading fans when read out over the tannoy. Can only be related to the 'one-man team' thing? Pathetic if so.

you expect them to cheer him..?

Odd thing to say. Of course not, but why boo when you can do nothing? They didn't boo any of our other players, so yes it's a bit strange.

Since when do fans boo players because they're good? It's been commented on by many, so I'm not the only one who finds it odd.

Next time we play Reading it will have to be a bubble trip. There is no other choice Im afraid ladies and gents.

I got head butted and then bottled in my right eye by 9 Reading fans in the church pub, good odds 9/1 but I stayed on my feet and took my punishment before being bitten twice on the hand by the dog patrol. All for wearing a classy jumper. That's the name of the game! Bad result, we played bloody excellent but Reading came into our back garden and stole our apples! Gutted is an understatement.

Turn it in FFS. Some of you weirdos need to get a grip. ReadinG brought a mob, deal with it, that's football.

Thats ironic, given where you were headed for turks   .....as they say, you learn something new every day.......

Did the dog patrol manage to arrest them?
