jasoneuelllfanclub Posted 13 April, 2012 Share Posted 13 April, 2012 I have it on good authority they were trying out their chat up lines on each other.
Littlelat17 Posted 13 April, 2012 Share Posted 13 April, 2012 i think its simply player goes round the circle asking who they want in 'piggy in the middle' next.. although used for junior teams mainly, in adults training it can be quite amusing and encourages banter, on who ends up on in the middle. Its a more light hearted way of choosing the one in middle rather than someone just saying right 'your in'
Saint_clark Posted 13 April, 2012 Share Posted 13 April, 2012 How bizarre!
shurlock Posted 13 April, 2012 Share Posted 13 April, 2012 Good interview - this interviewer has bit more about him (been impressed with him before). Good comment about Becher's Brook- almost shook cliche-wheeling NA out of his stride. Two can play at that game.

jasoneuelllfanclub Posted 13 April, 2012 Share Posted 13 April, 2012 Yes it's Tony Husband from BBC South Today. glad i am at sms tonight husband is doing the solent commentary. he was poor when commentating on on game against portsmouth. kept babbling on rather than following the game so listeners had no idea where the ball was. kris temple much better comentator. Minty Posted 13 April, 2012 Share Posted 13 April, 2012 I thought you could tell that he hadn't commentated for awhile at the Pompey game... I dunno if he 'outranks' Temple or the other guy, but it smelt of 'pulling rank' to me...
Whitey Grandad Posted 13 April, 2012 Share Posted 13 April, 2012 My daughter and I have always assumed that they are discussing who is going to make the tea.
The Kraken Posted 13 April, 2012 Share Posted 13 April, 2012 Tony Husband sounds very much like Alan Partridge. And the two of them are equally competent.

shurlock Posted 13 April, 2012 Share Posted 13 April, 2012 Tony Husband sounds very much like Alan Partridge. And the two of them are equally competent. Think he's a better interviewer than Blackmore; but may be mediocrity is just relative.
Draino76 Posted 13 April, 2012 Share Posted 13 April, 2012 No, the player whispering to the piggy is actually telling the piggy who he will pass it to.
