BRETTSKIPUFC Posted 12 April, 2012 Posted 12 April, 2012 Hi guys, Just a heads up for you travelling down to Peterborough and wanting a nice away friendly pub that also welcomes children, some of you may know from last season the Cherry Tree on Oundle Road (5 minute walk from ground) is a traditional pub serving your normal lagers , ciders and bitters and also a range of Real Ales, the pub is CAMRA recognised and has a very large beer garden with covered area (if raining) The pub also serves a full range of bar snacks and meals before the game ranging from burgers to meals and lots inbetween. For those of you driving down the pub also provides secure car parking at the cost of £2.50 per car or £5.00 per minibus. Janet , Tony and the team more than welcome you for drinks before and after what may well be your promotion party. The post code for any one using sat navs is PE2 9PB or if any of you want any further information just give me a shout. See you Tuesday for what i hope will be another cracking game between us 2 sides.......
100%Red&White Posted 12 April, 2012 Posted 12 April, 2012 Nice one. We're coming 'up' in cars, can you say about what time the car park usually gets to breaking point - what was it like for West Ham?
BRETTSKIPUFC Posted 16 April, 2012 Author Posted 16 April, 2012 For the West Ham game it was full about 6.15 pm, what time are you planning on arriving ?
geordiesaint Posted 16 April, 2012 Posted 16 April, 2012 Great, thanks. Ill be there - hopefully before the car park is full!
dune Posted 16 April, 2012 Posted 16 April, 2012 BRETTISKIPUFC is it still free street parking off glebe road. Used to go to a few games at London Road a decade ago and it was fine then, but wouldn't be surprised if it's residents only now?

Glebe road is now residents permit holders only, limited space on London Road but be very careful where you park as they are really clamping down on street parking at the minute, dishing out tickets at every home game ......
