"Former Portsmouth striker Aruna Dindane is reportedly interesting Blackburn Rovers.

The Al-Gharafa forward is understood to be on the transfer radar of Rovers, West Ham United and Southampton.

"I am happy to be linked to the Premier League," he told Sky Sports.

"I loved the Premier League and want to play there again during my career, the English league is the best league in the world.

"To hear that clubs there are interested is very exciting for me and I am dreaming of coming back there."

His agent has contacted many clubs and my guess is that most if not all have not responded..

Pompey are very interested ..if only the player will accept £50,000 per week....

But the agent mentions to the press... a few he has informed of his clients desire to make some more money...

I am not sure he is even of Div 1 standard ...Was he ever?:p

I get the feeling that we will be linked with an awful lot of players in the next few months assuming we get promoted, most of the links will be nothing more than speculation by lazy journos (is there any other sort?) and most of the players mentioned will be utter dross. This one illustrates exactly what I mean.

Couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo when he played for P*mpey. Surely he can't be any better now.

Lambert, Lee, Sharp and Guly are good enough for a strikeforce in the Prem imo, maybe with another addition up front. Get shot of Connolly, Forte and Barnard in the summer and spend circa £3-5m on a striker to push Rickie.
