Pahars_Legend Posted 11 April, 2012 Share Posted 11 April, 2012 "Former Portsmouth striker Aruna Dindane is reportedly interesting Blackburn Rovers. The Al-Gharafa forward is understood to be on the transfer radar of Rovers, West Ham United and Southampton. "I am happy to be linked to the Premier League," he told Sky Sports. "I loved the Premier League and want to play there again during my career, the English league is the best league in the world. "To hear that clubs there are interested is very exciting for me and I am dreaming of coming back there." http://www.clicklancashire.com/sport/blackburn-rovers-fc/1212027-blackburn-rovers-rival-southampton-for-ex-portsmouth-striker-dindane.html

ottery st mary Posted 11 April, 2012 Share Posted 11 April, 2012 His agent has contacted many clubs and my guess is that most if not all have not responded.. Pompey are very interested ..if only the player will accept £50,000 per week.... But the agent mentions to the press... a few he has informed of his clients desire to make some more money... I am not sure he is even of Div 1 standard ...Was he ever?
DrunkenSaint Posted 11 April, 2012 Share Posted 11 April, 2012 Let WH and Blackburn fight over him, we have better in Lee and Lambo and i reckon Sharp will improve over time and become a good premier player, finding 2 box-box midfielder's+ two defenders is more needed for next season. VectisSaint Posted 11 April, 2012 Share Posted 11 April, 2012 I get the feeling that we will be linked with an awful lot of players in the next few months assuming we get promoted, most of the links will be nothing more than speculation by lazy journos (is there any other sort?) and most of the players mentioned will be utter dross. This one illustrates exactly what I mean.

LeBenali Posted 11 April, 2012 Share Posted 11 April, 2012 It will become a common trend, you'll see us linked with players also allegedly linked with the other promoted teams, the teams who escape relegation, Norwich, Fulham etc. As has been said, lazy journalism! Under Weststand Posted 11 April, 2012 Share Posted 11 April, 2012 No way he was not good enough when with the skates. He is an ageing journeyman, doesn't fit in with our transfer policy. He is worse than we have here already. Made up press garbage, we'd better get used to it I suppose. We will be constantly linked to these type of players. The9 Posted 11 April, 2012 Share Posted 11 April, 2012 If a name is banded about in the media then it won't happen. Liiiiiiike Billy Sharp for instance ? All over the media as turning us down in the summer, then linked in the press 8 days before he signed (scroll down here : http://www.doncasterfreepress.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/transfer_window_centre_king_billy_becomes_a_saint_1_4129925)
SNSUN Posted 11 April, 2012 Share Posted 11 April, 2012 We could partner him with Guly, then we could sing "Dindane Guly Guly Guly Guly what's that Dindane Gu, Dindane Gu." I'll get me anorak.
SuperMikey Posted 11 April, 2012 Share Posted 11 April, 2012 Couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo when he played for P*mpey. Surely he can't be any better now. Lambert, Lee, Sharp and Guly are good enough for a strikeforce in the Prem imo, maybe with another addition up front. Get shot of Connolly, Forte and Barnard in the summer and spend circa £3-5m on a striker to push Rickie.

saint_ben Posted 12 April, 2012 Share Posted 12 April, 2012 The sun are reporting that saints are linked with adam Hammill. If am honest, I would like to think we could attract better premiership class players than the ones we are currently been linked with even if they are an ex saint.
