Pilchards Posted 10 April, 2012 Posted 10 April, 2012 (edited) (1) Did QPR, Norwich & Swansea have a open bus parade? (2) That drummer at Palace killed our atmosphere at the beginning, would it not be an idea to put one of each in the Itchen & Northam to kill the opponents atmosphere when they get going?I did like the quick beat tune but you need a thousand people bouncing with it. (3) Do you agree we don't need a new striker next season as Lambert, Lee, Sharp & a confident Barnard can do it for us. (4) We badly need two nippy wingers like Oxy as it will give us another style of football. (5) I need to go out Saturday morning so I need to miss the Reading game to be at the front of the queue for Coventry tickets, is there another solution for me? (6) It's time to rename our stands as the Itchen, Northam, Chapel & Kingsland is pants. We need to honour Marcus & Le Tiss in some format. (7) Is it time to give Nigel the freedom of the city? LGTL Posted 10 April, 2012 Posted 10 April, 2012 The day we ever get a drummer at St Marys is the day I do away games only.
The9 Posted 10 April, 2012 Posted 10 April, 2012 1) Dunno 2) Hell no. 3) Hell no again, we need at least one, maybe 2 Prem quality strikers and at least 4 strikers to choose from, Barnard definitely isn't one of them. 4) So you're dropping Lallana - isn't Lee one of them anyway ? 5) Dunno 6) Markus and Le Tiss already have lounges, I'm fine with the stand names 7) When we win the Premier League and not before
MongoNeil Posted 10 April, 2012 Posted 10 April, 2012 Surely those are questions, not answers. Just saying.
Wurzel Posted 10 April, 2012 Posted 10 April, 2012 1) Doubt it. 2) No 3) No we DO need 1or 2 4) No 5) Yes but it's politically incorrect and probably illegal (and has nothing to do with tickets) 6) ML Yes, MLT No 7) No HTH
Dog Posted 10 April, 2012 Posted 10 April, 2012 **** the drummer, let's all blow trumpets to the tune of OWTS?

Book them online, will cost an extra £2 but it's worth it, surely!!

Manuel Posted 10 April, 2012 Posted 10 April, 2012 We look down on clubs that use those dreadful drums, and rightly so. If anything they kill their own atmosphere as much as ours. Re naming of stands, personally I would keep the name of the stands just he same. I'm all for recognising great efforts of people but think the ground should be left alone. I cringed when I heard of the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand.

They go on general sale Saturday morning and I know the online booking & phones will be on melt down early morning, don't trust them at all. #2 yes I did have a few beers yesterday at the game but I thought I was alright now;)
