Colinjb Posted 9 April, 2012 Share Posted 9 April, 2012 Someone links now and then to a website which shows the probability of final league position based on everything that has happened beforehand. I would be grateful for the address, thankyou. (I don't think it's Statto.com, i've tried looking for the data on there to no avail.)

hutch Posted 9 April, 2012 Share Posted 9 April, 2012 http://www.sportsclubstats.com/England/ChampionshipLeague.html Doesn't look like they work on bank holidays, though.
pedg Posted 9 April, 2012 Share Posted 9 April, 2012 This one is quite good, but they do take a while to process results: http://www.dectech.org/football_sites/football_dectech/index.php

Yeah that was me (definitive "best result from West Ham v Reading" http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?36815-Best-result-for-Saints-from-West-Ham-v-Reading). It's the link from hutch above, sportsclubstats. I'd actually lost the website so cheers for finding it again !

Minty Posted 10 April, 2012 Share Posted 10 April, 2012 Not stats per se, but I saw this graph a few weeks ago and for all the permutations of what might happen, I can't help but marvel at this. It's one thing to hear Nige talk about being top two all season, but seeing it like this is somewhat bizarre. How many teams have done this before? I know it's not over yet, but it's one hell of an achievement. http://guardian.touch-line.com/?CTID=11&CPID=82&TEID=236&pStr=League_Pos&t=
St Chalet Posted 10 April, 2012 Share Posted 10 April, 2012 Now updated. 98% chance of promotion and 3 out of 4 times we should win league from here. Oh and the Skates have a 1 in 10 chance of staying up. Happy reading.
