As low as we were on Saturday ( well not all of us) it is now evened out by most of us feeling as high as a kite right now.

We're so flaming close.

The game against Friday is the title decider, in many ways depending on readings result tommorow, WHU may want us to win!

I think you're right, based on the results today tomorrow's game is a huge chance for them to really start to secure a top 6 finish. It will not be easy.

Depends, I think Reading are pretty banged up after their match against Leeds.

Did anybody see the incident leading to the equallising penalty ?

I'd like to know if it was a dodgy one. I dont trust the FL/FA as far as I can throw them where Wham are concerned after the Tevez thing.

Great result, really didn't matter whether it was a loss or a draw. If results go right we could be promoted on Saturday (barring a mathematical improbability). Hope its a great week for Brighton. Not counting chickens though.

Chris Burke raised his hands, I've seen them given. And to be fair, they had about 2 pretty strong penalty claims turned down earlier - so it was well justified.

It probably should not have been a penalty, difficult to see it was deliberate handball, but they had 2 stronger cases earlier. But it doesn't matter to us, a draw or loss for Wet Spam amounts to just about the same thing.

I couldn't get my rocks off more if I had 3 willies and access to the famous bendy triplets of Fellatio City.

Thats delicately put, and I couldnt agree more :)

Brightons home record is better than Readings away and they will be buoyed by the results today that puts them in with a chance of the play offs again. If Reading lose tomorrow, Wham will be desparate for us to beat them on Fri as it will give them a chance to go 2nd on Saturday.

If favourtism regarding pens were an issue, WHam would have had one sooner.

Exactly right. You'd have to be massively ignorant to think West Ham got any favours with penalties today, they could justifiably have had three.

Last Game - Reading away to Birmingham

Hopefully we're promoted by then, or if not, Brum have something to play for (i.e. not already certain of a top six finish and resting players for the playoffs).

The difference between 6 and 7 doesnt really matter, having 6 points and the superior goal difference means you can lose 2 and match west ham in the other 2 and you're up

To be pedantic, it does make a difference if (for example) WHam win their last 4, and we win 1, draw 2 and lose 1.

Are Reading going down the Sheffield Wednesday route and naming themselves after a day of the week? :-D

The title wouldn't necessarily be decided but yes it could be a vital game. It'll be interesting to see how Reading fare tomorrow. If they lose, then they'll be very nervous against us - and we have the support of the home fans.

7 pages about West Ham only 4 about our game today ??????

Think this thread counts as the 'in game' and 'post match reaction' thread for the hammers match so possibly not a fair comparison. Plus there tend to be multiple post saints match threads on difference aspects.
