Norm Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Agreed, but we did it at Wembley when he was at Carlisle so we can do it again. But he is playing in a much better team with Reading! Rather nervous about tonight. Love a win but will settle for a point.
ericofarabia Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Any Live streams - HaHa Sports don't have it listed. For my daughter - me I'll be down teh pub hoping for a better reception than the juddervision we had with Al Jism.

alpine_saint Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Last time I felt this bad about a footie match I was 16 and Gary Lineker was about to score a hat-trick against Poland.
latter day saint Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Last time I felt this bad about a footie match I was 16 and Gary Lineker was about to score a hat-trick against Poland. Seriously ? i've got the usual pre-match nerves but nothing that bad ! your blood pressure must be sky high
doddisalegend Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Oh.......F**K. I've just found out its on live here in Austria. And there was me thinking I could hide at the top of a mountain for 2 hours. I feel so, so, so sick....... Surely this is a good thing........ at least you won't have to put up with "Did you see the game?"
ericofarabia Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 You must have been checking at the same time as me!!! haha have it. look closer. PS what channel is it on in the UK? Sky? Shows start time 0245 - which would ake it a delayed tx - unless the time quoted is for somewhere further East than me HK or Singapore? Does your time tally?
macca155 Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 "I've just found out its on live here in Austria." Which channel is it on Alps I'm stuck in Switzerland and we seem to have every european channel on the Tv except sky of course. That would be awesome if I could watch the game rather than waiting for updates on my mobile. I'm seriously nervous about this one... come on Saints

I'm seriously nervous about this one... come on Saints Its on Sport Digital, which I seem to recall you get in Switzerland too. Only thing is its a subscription channel here in Austria, which I got along with the kiddie channels and the porn channels. Dont know if you have to pay in Switzerland.
Surrey Saint Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Relax . . . we will win* . . . and breathe. *Why do I think this? And I do, genuinely. I've been following Saints since before anyone south of Liverpool had heard of the Beatles; you'd think I'd know better by now. And yet, I've had this unmoveable feeling all week that we will beat Reading tonight. Nothing good can come of this. Or, . . . . can it?
patred44 Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 So we've got 3 players scored more than their top hit-man? no, 4.. on that list it doesn't take into consideration all of Billy Sharps goals, I believe he had 10 before joining us

Saintandy666 Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Train is packed to the brim with both supporters. Gonna be a big match tonight.
corsacar saint Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 3-1 to us,more confident now,for some reason.
Matthew Le God Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Train is packed to the brim with both supporters. Gonna be a big match tonight. Only two people going? I thought it was a sellout!

ericofarabia Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Train is packed to the brim with both supporters. Gonna be a big match tonight. Are The Skates playing tonight as well?
Saintandy666 Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Fine! Both SETS of supporters you bunch of pedants
Dr Who? Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Get your money on 3-1, feel really good about his game. Bring it on!
Crazy Diamond Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Anyone just see Illingsworth on Football League Weekend? Makes me sick to think people still automatically go to him for opinion on the club. He also uttered the immortal line 'no one remembers the title winners'. I'm afraid they do Nick.
Convict Colony Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Its on South African TV and its a Friday, surely we must win now given we've been **** every other time I have watched since I got here.
ericofarabia Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Get your money on 3-1, feel really good about his game. Bring it on! As much as I was a great fan of the 3-1's .... 2-0 seems to be the nerw 3-1. I'll take either - but the more goals the better if our Saints supporting hosties turn up gain, much more fun than hugging hairy arsed blokes in goal celebs for sure!!
thorpie the sinner Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Get your money on 3-1, feel really good about his game. Bring it on! I was hopeful on 7-3 saints lol
pap Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Work is now over. Just under two hours. I am not going to the game. I shall be watching it in Liverpool with the missus and the youngest, who are both Reds but have a soft spot for Saints. We watched the reverse fixture earlier in the year. Reading made us look ordinary for a lot of that game. I'm confident we're going to give a better account of ourselves tonight. This team knows how to get promoted. Full credit to McDermott and the job he has done there. I was watching some analysis today that reckoned his schtick was really looking after the players and building team spirit, even having a couple live with him to get them settled in. They are a team that will play for each other, and I have a lot more respect for that than the assembled mercenaries of West Hoof trying to get under a high ball. I'm confident we'll do alright, but they're right behind us for a reason. Early goal could be crucial, imo.
ericofarabia Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Fine! Both SETS of supporters you bunch of pedants Tsk ... the yoof of today huh.
S-Clarke Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 From a reading fan: Karacan, Connolly and Tabb are definitely out. Robson-Kanu and Leigertwood will have late fitness tests but expectation is that both will fail
SNSUN Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 I'm stuck here at work tonight until half 8. It takes me 15 minutes to get home. Ergo I will probably be able to watch the second half. However thanks to the beauty of Sky+, I plan on recording the match from the beginning and watching it retroactively when I get in. So... I apologise for my remarks that are an hour late on the match thread! (Jokes, I won't be anywhere near a computer, mobile phone or idiot that can tell me the score.)
RoswellSaint Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 2:45pm is the correct time for me (US Eastern time) On Fox Soccer Plus last time I checked.
Saint Garrett Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Search for Wiziwig football and it'll have links on there. If 'Bloodzeed' is broadcasting this game, his feeds are awesome in HD. Will need Sopcast though. COYS
macca155 Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 "Depends where in Ch. and if you're near the border but it's on Sportitalia 1 so ask just in case...." Thanks but I'm near the middle surrounded by mountains so not much chance. I've managed to get some wireless so hopefully I can find a live stream. Cheers Alps as well I've checked and Sport Digital is subscription here as well... can't have everything on holiday I suppose. My own fault I thought I could grab a weeks skiing and still see Pompey and Reading. Then they moved it to Friday ....gutted.... but never mind come on you reds this is the moment.
hutch Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Late schedule change here, and the game is now being shown live. Luckily I had nothing else planned. #whosnervousnow?
Whitey Grandad Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 I'm just leaving now from Hamble. Might get there a few minutes earlier than usual to soak up the excitement, if there is any. Might even have a cheeseburger.
mitch01 Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Here we go! On my way to arguably the biggest saints game of the past five years. This is what football is all about, savour it!

Windmill Arm 2 Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 Last time I felt this bad about a footie match I was 16 and Gary Lineker was about to score a hat-trick against Poland. You'd find a way to feel bad about a win on the Euro millions you big overweight fanny !!
Saint86 Posted 13 April, 2012 Posted 13 April, 2012 We are going to win this one! I can feel it in my Gut. Plus I have just upgraded to sky sports for a month. and as much as I love the playoffs I don't want to be watching us in them!! COYR's
