I just hope Adkins doesn't try and shut up shop too soon in the 2nd half. Is probably tempting given he'll want to rest players for Reading if possible,

can someone describe the goal...I was having a pee...

cheers

Same as at most grounds .... two upright posts, crossbar and a net and stanchions. (sp?)

The place where SRL plants most of his headers from great crosses out wide.

This - we didn't defend for 4 minutes last game - no way we can hold out for 45 - lets go out to kill the game off with more goals.

5 live taters suggesting a foul just before Lambert scored and the he was offside....******s

I couldn't give a **** to be fair. They can debate as much as they want.

Would be stupid resting players for Reading, it's not like they're going to be resting anyone for Brighton tomorrow is it? Just play the natural game with the best players available. Adkins knows what's best.

they are paid to talk and divert the masses;the content of their discussions is of little import, as we have seen with DM.

Don't care about that. It was a goal. Another couple of those early in the 2nd half would do wonders for my pulse rate.

Sorry to be late to the party good people but where is Richardson?, thought he played well on Saturday and not even on the bench, injured?

Enjoying the Santas by the way

HT phew, fortunate to be 1-0 up.

Need this win, we really do

It'd be great to be 7 points clear of West Ham as they go into their game with BRUM at HOME! Nigh on essential I'd say, if we want to get promoted without brown skidmarks.

The old ones are the best! Made me chuckle!

If we can hold on and Brum do us a favour we could be 7 +GD clear tonight with 4 left to play.

If you take Cov as a home banker that would leave West Ham needing 4 wins (cos you can't get 11 points from 4 games) whatever even if we lost our other 3.Very hypothetical case though, best case scenario for tonight though.

Didn't hear that but did they not also say that it was arguable if he was offside for the goal that was chalked off? Still, I'll happily take another offside Rickie goal in the second half if it's on offer.

Agree with the comments about not trying to sit back and defend the lead too early, we need to press on and put this game to bed rather than leave ourselves open for a potential 94 min wonderstrike to cost us 3 points.

3 points today are an absolute must, very very important particularly from a psychological point of view with Reading only a few days ago.

Let's see it in the second half lads

like I said Saints fan, might be looking for a job for next season

Nearly joined us on loan earlier in the season, but that's not for this thread, at this time:)

I think, should we win today and west ham lose one of their games this week...all but over IMO

I can see us winning at posh as well as home to cov
