The most important aspect of that video IMO is not that it shows him deliberately kicking the ball at the crowd but that he slaps Lallana around the face.

I don't think the FA can act retrospectively for the slap because the lino saw it and the ref took action with a yellow card. What he was booking him for though is another matter. If the lino saw it surely it is a red?

If the yellow was for kicking the ball in the crowd then perhaps the slap was completely missed by both the ref and lino? In which case, can't the footage be used to retrospectively punish the slap?

Slightly off thread, but BBC has Etuhu booked at 68 minutes. However, the ref also showed him a 2nd yellow for coming on to the pitch to celebrate Norris's goal. So thats 1 definitely missing for next game.
