Orange Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 wow 4 people went on the pitch, I didn't even notice, who gives a ****, the fact you've started a thread on your disgruntlement on the matter shows how much of a fanny you are. I couldnt give a fck about this all I care about is not winning today. I too, didn't even notice until i was talking to someone after the game.
Frank's cousin Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 F*ck off you c*nt. Football is about passion, the working mans game, go and follow rugby you t*at. Is it? What you realy mean is football is for those who thought the glory years were the 70s and 80s? Football was a working mens game for 90 years before such a thing as 'passionate pitch invasions'...
Asaint4ever Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Suppose you lot need blame someone, can't accept the fact they scored 2 good goals! Why dont we just blame Dan Harding for not hoofing it up the pitch?
Frank's cousin Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Because is used to be more fun? Are you saying those that went between 1885 and the early 1970s did not have fun?
Johnny Bognor Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 @pn_neil_allen: RT @oaktowers: @joemichalczuk The pitch invasion which gave enough stoppage time for Norris to score his goal. Had they not run on the pitch, the game would have started earlier, giving Norris the same amount of time to score his goal.
aintforever Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Are you saying those that went between 1885 and the early 1970s did not have fun? No, they probably had more. they used to stamp on people's hats when they scored back then.
aintforever Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 doing it in the first place? ****ing morons, the lot of them. Ban them and move on. There is no excuse for it. lol.
Orange Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Is it? What you realy mean is football is for those who thought the glory years were the 70s and 80s? Football was a working mens game for 90 years before such a thing as 'passionate pitch invasions'... Yes it is about passion. And pitch invasions happened before the 70s. If you get so up tight about a few men celebrating with players you do need to f*ck off and follow rugby.
Crazy Diamond Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 lol. They are morons. They should be banned as the rules state and there is no excuse. Not exactly crying over it am I? More stating fact. You can disagree on the morons bit, that's personal opinion. But upset? No.
VectisSaint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 How many then eagle eye? Sorry I didn't get the exact number 15-20
aintforever Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 They are morons. They should be banned as the rules state and there is no excuse. Not exactly crying over it am I? More stating fact. You can disagree on the morons bit, that's personal opinion. But upset? No. Bit sad for giving it even a moments thought though. Seriously who cares? What does it matter to anyone if a few people ran on a bit of grass.
Crazy Diamond Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Bit sad for giving it even a moments thought though. Seriously who cares? What does it matter to anyone if a few people ran on a bit of grass. It was pretty difficult to ignore!
VectisSaint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Yes it is about passion. And pitch invasions happened before the 70s. If you get so up tight about a few men celebrating with players you do need to f*ck off and follow rugby. You're right, pitch invasions happened before the 70s, as a result fencing was erected to keep the morons off the pitch, which indirectly resulted in Hillsborough. As a result of the latter fences came down and we were banned from standing up in grounds. Utter morons that ran on the pitch after our second goal, and by the way they were not al men, most were little boys, some more little than others, and some were girls. One little kid of about 10, had no idea what he was doing but saw all the propa nawty boys running on the pitch, bunch of ****s.
aintforever Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 It was pretty difficult to ignore! I forgot it even happened until I went on here and some boring sad f*cker decided to moan about it
Thedelldays Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 it was right in front of me...I had to laugh...fair play to them especially the fella who grabbed the corner flag, waved it around and then threw it away lol
CanadaSaint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 What were they thinking? This assumes that they had something to think with.
Frank's cousin Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Yes it is about passion. And pitch invasions happened before the 70s. If you get so up tight about a few men celebrating with players you do need to f*ck off and follow rugby. Don't be such a cock... you know fine well it was quite different in those times
CWD Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 I thought it was pathetic. A bunch of grown men acting like complete cocks. Made us look small time and then very stupid 3 mins later. Why do it? It hardly makes you look big or cool, I mean Lallana and Sharp were impressed weren't they? Idiots.
Gingeletiss Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Bit sad for giving it even a moments thought though. Seriously who cares? What does it matter to anyone if a few people ran on a bit of grass. Um!! the FA maybe...........pitch invasions can incur points penalty's, so I believe!
StAndy1970 Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 A bunch of immature Tw*ts, thats what they were. The muppet who used the 1980's and Barry horne as an excuse is a fool as well. I was watching Saints before this, so his arguement does not have any credibility for his actions as well. Just so stupid. Fact 1: We scored potentially the winning goal, four mins had already been shown on the board. Fact 2: Because of a bunch of mongs, including the idiot who was holding the corner flag, this four minutes increased and guess what- yes Pompey got the equaliser. Does not take too much intelligence to work out the effect those idiots had on the result today. I hope for all of your sakes, those who did this, and also the inbreds who defend them that we dont look back at this two points dropped with regret as it had cost us automatic promotion, because with how tight things are, thats a very real possibility now. Well done!!!!!!
Thedelldays Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Um!! the FA maybe...........pitch invasions can incur points penalty's, so I believe! when was the last time it happened..?
Saint_clark Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 The beeb has the goal down as 90+ 3:59, so it would have been in normal time anyway.
Gingeletiss Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 when was the last time it happened..? Can't find that ( and I tried), but it can happen, this was last year. The club have been advised however to make it clear to all ************** supporters that any further actions to invade the pitch and cause suspension of play could have serious implications both for the individual supporters and for the football club in terms of possible disciplinary action taken under FA rules. A few clubs were fined last season!
badgerx16 Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 The beeb has the goal down as 90+ 3:59, so it would have been in normal time anyway. Exactly. I reported it at the time, to my son, as them scoring with the last kick of the game. I thought the ref would blow the whistle almost immediately we restarted.
sfc1976 Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 I thought it was disgraceful, truly awful. To have that many on the pitch and not take down any of their players/slap any of their fans is pretty poor in truth.
Horley CTFC Saint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 I assumed they were the much vaunted Poopey fans secreted in our end for this very purpose - were they Saints fans then?
brmbrm Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Unfortunately there are quite a lot of very thick people in Southampton (just see the education stats for IoW, Soton and poopey - we have more than our share of retards). They also get ******ed and try to impress thier mates by behaving like drunk thick retards. They seem to think its clever, msart and real cool. And so do some of the posters on here - knuckle-dragging sub-morons whi think its really clever to get ****ed and behave like an idiot, and even encourage their little kids to do the same. Total embarrassment to the club and the city. Not5 to mention humankind
Mase Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Why are people trying to justify what a few idiots done? It was pathetic. Should be banned for life for being complete morons.
brianoneils slidingtackle Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 lighten up for christ sake, no one was hurt
dune Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Why are people trying to justify what a few idiots done? It was pathetic. Should be banned for life for being complete morons.'
1576 Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Was going that ****ing mental (once we got the goal as it was disallowed, by the way) that I didn't notice anyone on the pitch to be fair. Who gives a ****, we owed them big style and we still do as that in no way makes up for the **** I've seen at Fratton.
Rebel Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 I hope they all get banned - if you dont think it played a part in our players losing focus and Norris scoring the equaliser your simply wrong! Idiots!
Dig Dig Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 I hope they all get banned - if you dont think it played a part in our players losing focus and Norris scoring the equaliser your simply wrong! Idiots! Ironic take on it considering your username!
Dig Dig Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 I love the way that grown "men" who behave like a bunch of ferrel ****s are passed off as just being "passionate".
Deeps Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 I assumed they were the much vaunted Poopey fans secreted in our end for this very purpose - were they Saints fans then? There were very few of them with saints colours.
sebastian firefly Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 imagine the reaction to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5hPgSEwCiQ
sfc4prem Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 I thought it a bit weird considering there were still 4 minutes left... But hey, I was going ****ing mental on the stairs in Kingsland North so I can semi-understand how scoring in the last few mimutes can make people become maniacal hooligans, heck, I completely lost it today when Sharp notched the second.
aintforever Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Um!! the FA maybe...........pitch invasions can incur points penalty's, so I believe! You think we will get a points penalty for that?! You ***t!
Crazy Diamond Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 You think we will get a points penalty for that?! You ***t! Not as mad as it seems, but you do have to go back a bit - 1995-96, Brighton. "A pitch invasion late in the 1995-96 season, when the Seagulls were relegated to Division Three, resulted in a suspended sentence of three points deducted and a game played behind closed doors for the club. A similar protest on 1 October 1996 in a league game against Lincoln City meant that a Football League hearing on 9 December that year saw them deducted two league points. The club later appealed against the points deduction but their appeal was rejected"
John Boy Saint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 I wonder what the reaction on here would have been to those few numpties had a few like minded Circus freaks at the other end seen it as the chance to join in and all hell broken loose.
Sour Mash Posted 8 April, 2012 Posted 8 April, 2012 But I still don't get it Why does anyone feel the need to run onto the pitch? Is it the grass? Is it because you are not allowed? Is it you think you are above the rules? I honestly don't get it? It's actually pathetic and anyone who defends it needs to take a look at their self. Totally pointless and achieves absolutely nothing. Apart from making yourself look a complete and utter retard They got a bit carried away, so what? Happens at every big game the world over. If you think they cost us the game, you need to see a shrink.

Sour Mash Posted 8 April, 2012 Posted 8 April, 2012 Um!! the FA maybe...........pitch invasions can incur points penalty's, so I believe! You continue to come across as one of the thickest posters on this forum, there's no way you're like this in real life is there?
Saint_Randell Posted 8 April, 2012 Posted 8 April, 2012 It was just embarrassing. Yes you're entitled to get passionate and I was going absolutely mental, but I didn't feel the need to sprint down 10 rows of stairs, jump the barrier then pick up the corner flag and star waving it around like a complete tw*t.
Saint_clark Posted 8 April, 2012 Posted 8 April, 2012 Not as mad as it seems, but you do have to go back a bit - 1995-96, Brighton. Torrent Of Abuse Posted 8 April, 2012 Posted 8 April, 2012 Does this really REALLY matter? FFS if you think that somehow motivated Pompey more than.. Oh I don't know... Conceding a goal and being 2-1 down then you're kidding yourselves. By all means feel down and aggrieved. It was a sickener but to blame some fans is ludicrous. You might as well say everyone sang the wrong songs so that contributed. They came to fight it out and got their just desserts. We just didn't seem so up for it. Nigel will pick them up for the next game - unless someone sees them before the game and gets them to sign a programme. That might put them off psychologically and cost us a goal. FFS. Some of you on here need to take a long look at yourselves and check if you have any guts whatsoever. You may not like fans signing a certain song or running on the pitch but really get over yourselves. There are 32,000 people in the ground. They have other things to care about then whether you're comfortable with what they like to do.
Denzil Posted 8 April, 2012 Posted 8 April, 2012 A couple ran on the pitch and I didn't even notice. Get over it you tarts.
doddisalegend Posted 8 April, 2012 Posted 8 April, 2012 A couple ran on the pitch and I didn't even notice. Get over it you tarts. Obviously not as it was more like 30 people than a couple......I wonder if people would be so dismissive if the pompey fans had done it?
