BotleySaint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Awful performance. Playing poorly at the wrong time of the season. Must beat Palace and Reading. That said, Ashdown kept them in it. Bastard.
badgerx16 Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 We are still top - if we match Reading for the last 5 games we will be fine.
andysstuff Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Gutted. We're certainly making hard work of things at the moment
Window Cleaner Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Awful performance. Playing poorly at the wrong time of the season. Must beat Palace and Reading. Not playing the way we did today we won't.
Viking Warrior Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 We should have kept sharp on or subbed him with Barnard We went too defensive bringing on Harding
Ex Ringwood Saint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 I want that crappy blue team hurried in a ****ing hole......**** **** **** result and I feel sick...crap performance and we looked clueless at times...no killer instinct and we have lost our ability to take control of games early and see it through.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
SaintRobbie Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 We're top of the league. Skates are going down. Shame they couldn't be going down in a humiliating fashion but hey ho…
saint_jas Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 2 wonder goals from them, ****ed right off at the moment.
Johnny Shearer Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 FFS. They score two belters. Unbeliveable. Maybe Davis should have been more alert for the sevond. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Lets hope our fans beat the **** out of their lot.
Ohio Saint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 I'm disappointed, but if that turns out to be the last derby, then it was one heck of a derby!!! Have to give credit where I don't want to, the skates plugged away and got two good goals despite not having much else. Pleased to see Billy coming good.
Cascadia Saint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Not long left, just got to keep in front of West Ham and hopefully Reading. COYS!
Saintjersey Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 We were absolutely shocking second half. We didn't deserve the 3 points but to have it ripped away from us with literally the last kick of the game is absolutely sickening. With Palace 2 days away now we have to get over this result ASAP.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 FFS. They score two belters. Unbeliveable. Maybe Davis should have been more alert for the sevond. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH Sometimes, just sometimes, there isn't anyone to blame...
Cascadia Saint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 I'm disappointed, but if that turns out to be the last derby, then it was one heck of a derby!!! Have to give credit where I don't want to, the skates plugged away and got two good goals despite not having much else. Pleased to see Billy coming good. Stop talking sense, it won't get you anywhere...
ThreeSixty Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Unbelievable Not much more too say. Onto Palace.
Window Cleaner Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Lambert is clearly not fit Absolutely, looked very limited today.
David Strover Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 I have lost all faith now with the last two results. All faith...
Ohio Saint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Stop talking sense, it won't get you anywhere... I know, I puked in my mouth a little when I wrote it.
patred44 Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 naive defending at the death.. we defended the box in numbers and allowed them to get anything knocked out. He had ages to pick his spot ANOTHER DISPLAY LIKE THAT AT SELHURST AND WE ARE DONE FOR.
Cascadia Saint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 This is the beginning of the end. of the season?
sussexsaint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Gutless second half. That plus the performance last week has me very pessimistic about the run in. I am feckin steaming angry at the moment.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Coventry losing too.... Bad couple of days results wise! 2-2 but feels like a defeat
Under Weststand Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Lucky Lucky bar stewards 2 unbelievable strikes. I so wanted to batter these t**ts but hey ho not to be. Right Royaly P**sed of !
Saints Fan Dan Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Bloody hell, we're top of the league they're second from bottom, no money, hardly any players... and yet we still can't beat them. They deserved it though well done to them, we were really poor.
scotty Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Suggestion for the mods; that swear filters going to overheat shortly, open a window.
redkeith Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Feed went down for the last 10 minutes. Don't know about offside and wonder who should have closed down Norris. Blue line under it, and on to Palace. Glad people are saying Lambert isn't fit. Slagging of Sharpe worked dividends last week.
suewhistle Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 I have lost all faith now with the last two results. All faith... Oh for goodness sake! if I said something like that you'd all say PMT, time of the month or similar juvenalia..
badgerx16 Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Good - Billy Sharp 4 goals in 3 games Bad - Rickie isn't fit , couldn't thrash the DCFSBs Positive - we are top of the league Being honest - it was always going to be rough, especially after losing Spiderman so early, their 2nd was a fluke 'wonder strike' Opportunity to seal the season - Reading on Friday the 13th
jjsaint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 naive defending at the death.. we defended the box in numbers and allowed them to get anything knocked out. He had ages to pick his spot ANOTHER DISPLAY LIKE THAT AT SELHURST AND WE ARE DONE FOR. The defending at the end was indeed hopeless. No subs necessary for the last two minutes, don't rock the boat, keep things as they are. Hopefully West Ham will f*ck up some of their remaining games.
Amazing Hangover Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 We were the better team, deserved to win - two -once in -a - lifetime shots for the skates. Palarce is a home game.
obelisk Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Two good strikes by them from the edge of the area with no Saints player challenging at all. Saints have started to concede goals and possession too easily. I predict squeaky bums during April with Saints outside the top 2 at the end of only one day this season. Of course I might change my opinion with 3 points on Monday but I fear Reading will be enjoying the prospect of St Mary's on Friday more than us.
Saint Billy Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 What has happened to our game lately? Its alright people saying we are still top of the league but only on goal difference chaps. The gap has closed and even the hammers are pegging us back and our form is not improving.
Ashby Saint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 We won't go up this year. Got a feeling that WHAM will catch us and Reading will be Champions. Not necessarily a bad thing. Another year to get stronger defensively - need a dependable centre half to partner Hoosveldt and a better right back.
jjsaint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Opportunity to seal the season - Reading on Friday the 13th No chance we'll beat Reading IMO, sorry
CanadaSaint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 The "D" on the edge of the box is one of the most lethal places on the pitch. We didn't defend it and paid the price. No use crying over spilt milk, though. We were done by two cracking strikes but we're still top. TBH, right now I'd settle for second in a heartbeat.
Window Cleaner Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 TBH on what I saw today I can see us having to pass through the play-offs.Too many players not contributing.Lambert isn't fit, Lallana can't shoot and we seem to be just aimlessly hoofing all of the time. No bite from the midfield and nothing much constructive either. We need to get Sooty to throw some oofle dust on Morgan and Chung to get them back on the pitch by Monday.
capitalsaint Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Whatever you think of him, it would be hard to deny that our midfield was much worse after Guly came off. The only silver lining for me is that I successfully predicted the final score during the first half. Not much to cling onto, admittedly.
Micky Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Bloody hell, we're top of the league they're second from bottom, no money, hardly any players... and yet we still can't beat them. They deserved it though well done to them, we were really poor. Yep, got to hand it to them, they got in our faces and battled hard. We couldnt cope without time to pick our passes. Ok they only had two chances - but they took them. We, on the other hand, weren't very good. Weren't very good at Blackpool, Weren't very good againts Portsmouth. Palace.... who knows, Reading...... ????
Saintjersey Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Nigel needs to pick up the players for the Palace game immediately.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 naive defending at the death.. we defended the box in numbers and allowed them to get anything knocked out. He had ages to pick his spot ANOTHER DISPLAY LIKE THAT AT SELHURST AND WE ARE DONE FOR. Defensively we concede 3 goals in 8 before Blackpool and now 5 goals conceded in 2! what is worse we cant fing hold the game scoreless for 4 fing minutes
trousers Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 Just walking back to the car....one thing to say..... AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH
Johnny Shearer Posted 7 April, 2012 Posted 7 April, 2012 I dont understand why didnt close the game out like previous games? Hold the ball and keep the passing simple. Too much hoofing today and all it did was come back and haunt us.
