Wade Garrett Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 Northam Club has been open since 10am. Mindless if true, there's probably kids on that coach.

SNSUN Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 Disgraceful behaviour. Why can't Saints fans and Pompey fans just hold hands and prance about gayly?
sussexsaint Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 It didn't kick off, I was there. A few people giving the finger but nothing more. The coach window smashed from the inside. Pmsl from the inside, bless em they are like pigeons
Griffo Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 Fantastic news. Hope the windows were put through on every single coach sending flying shards into their faces. C*nts.
Micky Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 Fantastic news. Hope the windows were put through on every single coach sending flying shards into their faces. C*nts. Joke, quip, or just frustration - thus bad taste. Probably not the cleverest of comments, especially given as somebody has already pointed out - there are probably kids present as well. rocknrollman no2 Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 I was also there and there was no trouble at all. A lot of Saints fans did welcome the Skate coaches in,but apart from the usual gestures and waving of money, the police had it covered.

dune Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 The only incident I saw was a stupid teen lob a full (with the lid off) plastic coke bottle into the skates as we were exiting the stairs at the end. The police soon picked him out and dragged him away. Silly kid may get a custodial but certainly a ban for that.
sandwichsaint Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 Anybody go near the Angel of the South before the game? At least 50 men of a certain age who I have never seen home or away were congregating in the morning sun; if that's our firm I am impressed and scared in equal measures - my gaydar was screaming 'skates'. Anybody know what became of them?
John Boy Saint Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 Chuff all went on outside the Northam Club, the rozzers pushed all the spectators for the passing of the Circus Freaks up the road between the Northam Club and the houses. It was funny to see all these heads pop up from behind the fence of the Northam Club beer garden as the busses passed. The busted from the inside out window was on the near side so away from the club. I know a couple of the lads who sell the Programmes in the Northam car park, they said it was quite funny to hear all this language being sung that would make a sailor blush, then as they bought programmes "can I have one please" "please can I have two" Which they both found amusing. The police soon picked him out and dragged him away. Silly kid may get a custodial but certainly a ban for that. Truly a quite stupid act and at a young age he's got to carry around a criminal record with him for a long time to come. Don't think it'll ever get through 100% to the next generation of Saints fans that that kind of thing is wrong, for a number of reasons. As I got to the ground today the busses were turning up and there was a handful of fans singing at them. One kid in a group of four or five saw it, laughed and said 'let's go join in the riot!' and they promptly legged it over there. That's a good sign isn't it. Not sure how old they were, but you'd describe them as kids, and they want trouble as its entertainment for them. They'll have been disappointed anyway as it was just singing and chanting, nothing more. Still, they were fat little bastards, the run over there might have done them some good. Hatch Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 The idiot who threw the bottle at the end is probably going to get a very rude awakening, considering what happened to the fence rattlers.
dune Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 The idiot who threw the bottle at the end is probably going to get a very rude awakening, considering what happened to the fence rattlers. I felt sorry for the stupid boy because of this and how that moment could have serious consequences for his future. I do think the police/courts should show some leniency because he was only a bit of a kid. A severe wrist slapping/make him sweat for a bit is enough imo. John Boy Saint Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 A good few years back I knew lads who had done really stupid things when they thought it was a bit of a wheeze and had their collars felt and charged by the Fuzz. Then further down the track found travelling to the US a bit of a pain in the backside........ One Guy had to cancel a family trip to Disneyland, try explaining that to the kids.
