Brizzie Saints Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 Just like the old days, typical saints. Still a point is better than nowt, Bring on Palace
Saint Without a Halo Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 Why oh why can other clubs hold onto leads better than us 4 mins for F sake that is all we had to do was hold it scoreless for 4 fing minutes!
MOSaint Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 Really need something from Palace - because I can honestly see Reading doing us..... Playing like we have the last two Reading are going to murder us. For the second game in a row we were lightweights who crumbled at the first sign of pressing and physicality. Can't say I was too happy watching some of our players throw themselves to the ground in the way they did today either.
Brizzie Saints Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 This was always gonna be a tough game, derbys always are. Learn from it at move on. Were still top, Just, I still have every confidence in this team to deliver promotion. When you look at how many chances we created and how many great saves that **** pulled off I still think the majority played there guts out. On a different day we would have scored a hatfull. jasoneuelllfanclub Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 I am going to go against popular opinion and blame guly and harding for their goals Seriously if we get 7 points from these 3 games that would be a giant step to promotion. Yes a draw against skates it poor but had we won today and drawn at palace and won against reading we would all be happy with that.
Crouchie's Lawyer Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 I am as ****ed off as the next fan but things to remember and hold faith guys, our confidence breeds confidence in the team. If we are nervous that 'fear' will not help the team... 1) We are still 4 points ahead of WHU with 5 games left, even if Reading do beat us, assuming WHU win, we are still a point above them. 2) We were beaten by 2 wonder strikes, yes they did play well and wanted it maybe a little more than us but they didnt out play us and save but those two strikes, they had no other real chances 3) We battered them in spells and their keeper kept them in it with a string of world class saves 4) It could have been so much different... Imagine if our goal was not given and they went on to grab it with the last kick of the day! 5) Pompey are still very much likely to be relegated and possibly receive further point deductions 6) Pomepy are still very much likely to be liquidated 7) We're still top of the league
David Strover Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 Palace are 3-0 down and it's not even half-time....guess who they've got to play next to get a nice confidence booster. This really is looking the 'old days'. Still at least I'm still not really, really angry about the Walsall result!
