Avenue Saint Posted 6 April, 2012 Share Posted 6 April, 2012 In people's opinion, which block and row has the best seat to view the game? I was thinking 6 or 8, around rows s to z? Need to put my name down for next season.
voteforpedro Posted 6 April, 2012 Share Posted 6 April, 2012 Back of block 35 or 4. Decent view yet still a good atmosphere. Much rather be stood up too.

Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 For the best view (which is what the OP asked) then Block 31 upper is by far and away the best. On the half way line and with an excellent angle to see from.

Liquidshokk Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 Block 7 row L is a pretty good spot Ah. You'll be familiar with the back of my head in row K then...
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 Having sat in various parts of the ground, barring the Northam (so I can't comment) the best I have so far experienced is block 20, row K. kingsland from halfway to the north is next fave. Don't like the itchen purely because you get the prevailing elements and the sun in your eyes. I reckon the Northam would be fun but at my age I do like to sit and I'd appear to be just a grumpy old fart in there!
Saint Fan CaM Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 The row depends on which block you're in...i.e. if you're near the centre line, then rows T - Z are best IMO. If you're near a corner of the ground or behind a goal then further up the stand is better e.g. row AA and up. Some like being near the pitch, but personally I wouldn't like to sit anywhere in the ground lower than row S.

sfcuk fan Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 When they are open, blocks 1 to 3 in the upper half is the best place for atmosphere and view imo. Get some good singers in there and eyeball the away fans across the corner. Assuming we make it to the promised land and blocks 1 - 3 are permanently open next season then THAT is where I will want my season ticket ( if I can afford one this year :-( ). dubai_phil Posted 7 April, 2012 Share Posted 7 April, 2012 34DD would certainly work. 36C is a fair substitute as well.
