Window Cleaner Posted 6 April, 2012 Share Posted 6 April, 2012 Only way to avoid this "on the beach after 38 games" attitude is have play-offs from 17th to 22nd to decide who goes down.
Appy Posted 6 April, 2012 Share Posted 6 April, 2012 These games were always nailed on wins. At least Leeds showed some fight, Barnsley are a joke.

Legod Third Coming Posted 6 April, 2012 Share Posted 6 April, 2012 How pathetically bad was the Barnsley keeper for their 3rd?! And the second. And he's on loan. I would ring his club and demand my money back! I hear he plans to throw himself in front of a bus at half time, but even that will probably go under him... A bit of reverse psychology never hurt anyone I suppose.... Always the way when results don't go our away, it always deflates you slightly. We could never effect the results though, it was always a case of hoping for miracles at the start of play. Tomorrow will be immense by the way. They will be like startled rabbits from the 1st minute tomorrow as they will not be able to match our intensity. The players I'd have been half worried about would have been Lawrence, Husseklep, Henderson their Gk.....but oh, they've not got any of those anymore. Anything but a comfortable win tomorrow will be criminal!

Turkish Posted 6 April, 2012 Share Posted 6 April, 2012 Good way of looking at it. It's not a good way of looking at it, its the sensible non hysterical tart way of looking at it. Win tomorrow, which we will, West Ham will need 7 more points over 5 games to overtake us, it would take and incredible run from them and an incredibly bad one from us for that to happen. Saint Without a Halo Posted 6 April, 2012 Share Posted 6 April, 2012 On the bright side given Barnsley were already on their summer hols, we have to play both Palace and Peterborough away and they are both in the same league positions as Barnsley let us hope they will share this early holiday feeling!
