Colinjb Posted 5 April, 2012 Share Posted 5 April, 2012 I've noticed recently that my whites (Saints shirts, work shirts and bedding) are starting to get small orange/rust coloured specks on them after being washed. I've no idea what is causing it and how to get them out of the clothes (hotter washes are not viable on the saints shirts....) Any ideas guys? trousers Posted 5 April, 2012 Share Posted 5 April, 2012 Due to the drought orders you should be washing your clothes in the nearest stream rather than using a washing machine FFS!

Normally whites are discoloured by dispersal from other darker items in the same wash but in this case (from what you describe!) I reckon that you may have some rust somewhere in the cylinder of your machine ! If it is old, best to replace it otherwise I'd get it checked out ! Spudders Posted 5 April, 2012 Share Posted 5 April, 2012 I guess that depends on if you can get used to wearing clothing with orange specks on!

Saint-Fred Posted 5 April, 2012 Share Posted 5 April, 2012 sounds like spaghetti stains to me... Solution...just stop slurping it in so the sauce doesn't fly all over your clothes also stopping eating spag in bed will help with the bedclothes one.....and get a women to do you washing they know what they are doing. Bearsy has a spare one if it helps.

In all seriousness, and this is a little random, I can wholeheartedly recommend Sainsbury Online for white goods. Next day delivery available quite often. Also search 'Sainsbury Voucher Code' to get a few bob off the asking price too.
