Organic waste

I had a green waste bag full up of a years worth of organic waste, pretty much full up to the brim and composting down beautifully mainly due to the hundreds of worms in there I think

Then over a couple of nights, I noticed the level of the compost drop, thought it was natural compacting to start with as I had turned it over previously with the prong

Eventually, when there was hardly any left I decided to see what had happened and found that rats had completely emptied the bag from the bottom, I don't even know what they've done with the compost, it's just disappeared!!!

Do we think the rats have just scoffed all the worms?

There were plenty in there....
