JackanorySFC Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Just saw a thread on TUI about it, went online, requested 2 tickets no problem. Has our allocation increased or what? Top comm's from the Club again eh?
Nexstar Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Article on the Palace site saying we've sold our allocation.
JackanorySFC Posted 3 April, 2012 Author Posted 3 April, 2012 Article on the Palace site saying we've sold our allocation. We sold out last week, but by chance someone checked the online site and extra tickets are now available. I just bought 2, no problem at all.
LGTL Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Just had a little look online, and they do seem to have more available. Odd.
beavis17 Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Sure this is a mistake as the Palace coaches were all sold out about a week ago and now are all available. Plus why is there travel for Leeds away on there? Looks like the TO have made a major balls-up..
oldsarum Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Could be some tickets have been returned, I know someone who bought 14 tickets for him and his mates only to find someone else had done the same, so had 14 spare tickets
saintoaks Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Went on the palace site earlier and saints have been allocated the whole side but there are "strerile areas" at one end. Maybe we have been given more tickets ? http://www.cpfc.co.uk/page/MatchTicketInformation/0,,10323~2658389,00.html
richardc Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 I have just given the ticket office a right ear full - I was told the Pompey match was sold out this morning but people seemed to be able to buy tickets after I called - so just gone back to see if there were palace tickets and no this is still sold out - if anyone has 2 spare tickets for either Pompey or Palace pls email richard.curtis93@gmail.com cheers
Surrey Saint Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Phoned the ticket office 1.50pm - nothing available. Went online - tickets available. Phoned the tkt office before pressing 'Buy', ' No, you can try it but you won't get a ticket.' Pressed 'Buy' - got ticket. Tkt office person goes away, comes back, 'Yes, you will get the ticket. Apparently we have some more tkts but we're not advertising the fact.' ????

SaintNeil90 Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 The staff keep tickets behind. Sold out is never 'sold out'
SaintNeil90 Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Also new ticket system will be used next season so don't moan that the ticket office is shocking and mot soing anything about it.
ben05 Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 The Ticketing systems is a joke. I bought 2 “restricted view tickiets” for Palace. I gather the ones on Sale now are not restricted view! Tempted to ring up and get a refund then by some “normal” view tickets. Knowing my lucky I would end up getting now tickets at all. Seems to be some sort of communication breakdown between the OS and ticket office. I bought 2 posh tickets this morning without being a ST holder. People on here have managed to get Coventry tickets without having been to the Barnsley or Ipswich games just because they got a lucky person on the phone that didnt have a clue what they were doing. Totally screwed up. Bring on the new system next season.

Maybe we have been given more tickets ? http://www.cpfc.co.uk/page/MatchTicketInformation/0,,10323~2658389,00.html the sterile areas are both ends but only one block R one end but three blocks the other end blocks XYZ

This Charming Man Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Also new ticket system will be used next season so don't moan that the ticket office is shocking and mot soing anything about it. That's next season. They've still been an utter shambles this season.

sfc4prem Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Just got two tickets. Phoned up, the lady said they were sold out, so I proceeded to inform her that I had knowledge of others buying tickets online today. She then said, "Hmm, that's odd, bear with me, I'll just check with my manager". She came back and confirmed there were indeed tickets available, and I managed to get 2 adult tickets side-by-side. Bish-bash-bosh.
stevegrant Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Also new ticket system will be used next season so don't moan that the ticket office is shocking and mot soing anything about it. The current ticket system is perfectly capable - and has been for a number of years - of doing the basic things it is required to do. It's not the fault of the software that the people running the ticket office don't seem to have the faintest idea what they're doing.
saintoaks Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Can definately confirm there are tickets for sale on line at Crystal Palace...Fill your boots people !!
ladysaint Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Anybody know what time the TO office is open to tonight, cant find any details online about opening hours.
Townhillsaintsfan Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 How bad are the restricted view seats? I've got a few in row 30 which I assume is quite far back. The roof supports look much further forward so the view might not be too bad. Would it be worth exchanging my tickets for the ones available now?
Saint Garrett Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Is there something going on with the trains on Monday ? Only ticket I can find is £40+ and takes over an hour to get to clapham ?!

stevegrant Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Is there something going on with the trains on Monday ? Only ticket I can find is £40+ and takes over an hour to get to clapham ?! Engineering works around Surbiton, I think, adding an extra 30-40 minutes onto the journey. Don't bother buying in advance from SWT, get it on the day either with a network railcard (1/3 off) or as part of a Group Save 4 (half-price).
ladysaint Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 You can still do it on a group 4 going via Horsham for under a £8 each to East croydon then connection to Thornton Heath which costs another £2 or so for under a £10 altogether.
saints-cris Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 God bless this thread. Got tickets for me and my bro. 2 games in 3 days, niiice!
ladysaint Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 All sold out now actually had to go down to the ticket office this afternoon by time I got there about 415 they had all gone.
thegaffer Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 was just going to try and get 2 tickets as son just found out hes not working Monday now so absolutely gutted..All sold out now actually had to go down to the ticket office this afternoon by time I got there about 415 they had all gone.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 All sold out now actually had to go down to the ticket office this afternoon by time I got there about 415 they had all gone. Don't worry, I'm sure more will go on sale tomorrow, although they won't advertise it
Ewell Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Please bring back David Luker, not been the same since he left.

Mattio Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 They're probably selling duplicate tickets! They did that for Plymouth, I ended up sat behind the goal!
chocco boxo Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Do The Skates have this problem when they go away????
SaintBobby Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Blimey, what a total mess. I sure hope next season is better than this shambles. (but I'm usually sceptical about some new flashy "database solution"...it seems we need some basic human competence)
