sfc1971 Posted 1 April, 2012 Posted 1 April, 2012 Get rid of Gary Neville NOW !! I will cancel my subs soon if I have to listen to this boring twit any longer, Arrrghhh :x
Nexstar Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 Probably the best they have. Some of the commentators/analysts are shocking.
keithd Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 Yep agree with last 2 posts. Think he's a good pundit, talks more sense than most
ecuk268 Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 Yep agree with last 2 posts. Think he's a good pundit, talks more sense than most Agreed. I thought he'd be awful but he's one of the better ones.
Hatch Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 he is very good. Actually knows what he is talking about.
S-Clarke Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 Whats your problem with him? He's been excellent since he's been on sky.
pedg Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 Find his voice a bit annoying but he is okay. Problem with any pundit in football is that 95% of their job involves stating the bleeding obvious.
Smirking_Saint Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 Hate the weasel but he is a very good pundit, and not as boring as Wilkins, both know what they are on about though
scotty Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 Get rid of Gary Neville NOW !! I will cancel my subs soon if I have to listen to this boring twit any longer, Arrrghhh :x I'm not fond of him either, but then, as a non-sky subscriber, I dont have to listen to him!! There lies your path my son, confucious has spoken....
OVER THE HILL Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 I'm not fond of him either, but then, as a non-sky subscriber, I dont have to listen to him!! There lies your path my son, confucious has spoken.... Very wise and don't give any money to Murdoch.
EBS1980 Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Neville and Lee Dixon are 2 of the better pundits about. The likes of Hansen, Lawrenson on the beeb, Townsend on ITV and Goodman on Sky are the ones that need to go.
Dig Dig Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 I think he's pretty good. As he had only recently retired, he's able to give a better insight than those that haven't been near a dressing room in years. He's also won everything (domestically) so that also helps. I think Ed is a little in love with him though. The way his eyes light up at his little anecdotes and insights is a big give away. Far better than that fat ***** Andy Gray.
Thedelldays Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 he started on sky very very shaky..but that was to be expected though...but he is actually pretty good... won everything you could win domestically and a couple of european cups too and oodles of caps for england...and all very recently and he points out things during the game that makes perfect sense. annoyingly, he is quite good

The likes of Hansen, Lawrenson on the beeb, Townsend on ITV and Goodman on Sky are the ones that need to go. without being biased....MLT is a pretty good pundit...easy to listen to, very articulate and knows what he is on about
Marsdinho Posted 4 April, 2012 Posted 4 April, 2012 I too think he's pretty good, I hated him as a player, but as a pundit he's right up there. Don't want to pull his pants down or anything, but when he comes out with stuff I find myself sitting there agreeing with him 100%. I thought he was going to be OTT biased towards Man Utd, but he's not. His comments about David Luiz playing like he is being controlled by a 10 year old on a Playstation were brilliant. Anyone that has played FIFA or PES will know that those comments weren't necessarily derogatory.
Thedelldays Posted 16 April, 2012 Posted 16 April, 2012 tonight..before the arsenal game is exactly why he is very good.... pointing out how wigan beat man u would never had occurred to me.... tells it like it is...annoying good too
S-Clarke Posted 16 April, 2012 Posted 16 April, 2012 IMO the Monday night football with Ed and Gary is better than anything Keys and Gray put together.
Gigersaint Posted 16 April, 2012 Posted 16 April, 2012 I really wasn't sure about him as a pundit to start with but found he has got much better now he has settled into it, his analysis of the game is spot on and balanced even with games involving Man Utd. Certainly been better than some of his predecessors so far and gives some good honest opinions and insight that doesn't favour just the top or favoured teams. TBH I find him to be far more balanced in his views than many pundits before him on Sky which makes a change.
Crazy Diamond Posted 17 April, 2012 Posted 17 April, 2012 Monday Night Football is the influence of America. Their sports programmes are all like that. I hate it, personally. Why the hell do they need to walk around, to and from a desk? What's wrong with staying ****ing still? I can't bear to watch it - though it's not as bad as watching anything but the 90 minutes of actual football on ITV. Adrian Chiles is an absolute disgrace, as is most things on ITV and especially their sports coverage to be quite honest. Neville may well be a good pundit but he's got an annoying voice.

Patrick Bateman Posted 17 April, 2012 Posted 17 April, 2012 Saint and Greavsie!! haha, that brings back memories! I think Gary Neville is a brilliant pundit - talks sense and is very very good, certainly compared to pundits that have gone before.
