saintscottofthenortham Posted 1 April, 2012 Posted 1 April, 2012 Soton > Clapham Junction > Thornton Heath we are taking.

Didcot Saint Posted 1 April, 2012 Posted 1 April, 2012 Mr Comely, are you going to sort the trains as I sorted the match tickets! COYR ps, don't panic, we will still win it!
SaintSarah Posted 1 April, 2012 Posted 1 April, 2012 Works out at £7.50 each return on a groupsave 4 on that route.
Mattio Posted 1 April, 2012 Posted 1 April, 2012 Works out at £7.50 each return on a groupsave 4 on that route. Is that in advance or on the day?
SaintSarah Posted 1 April, 2012 Posted 1 April, 2012 Got them in advance, sometimes these deals disappear when they get wind of a large number of football fans using that route.
Mattio Posted 1 April, 2012 Posted 1 April, 2012 I don't know what I did wrong, but it comes up as about £15pp on the group save for me
maysie Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 Been searching for tickets for 6 adults and looking for flexible times (i.e open day return) from soton central. Anyone else struggling with something similar or is it just me? Anyone found the cheapest route?
Pilchards Posted 4 April, 2012 Posted 4 April, 2012 Bump... Just got a ticket myself so I'm looking for a price and what sort of time should I give myself to arrive for the kick off (2 hours before) 3 0 clock I believe?
stevegrant Posted 4 April, 2012 Posted 4 April, 2012 Group Save tickets often don't show online, but you can buy them on the day anyway. You might also find it's cheaper to take the scenic route from Southampton and go via Barnham and Gatwick Airport, changing at East Croydon. Because of engineering works, the Waterloo route will be disrupted all weekend, so it won't take any longer going that way.
Window Cleaner Posted 4 April, 2012 Posted 4 April, 2012 Got them in advance, sometimes these deals disappear when they get wind of a large number of football fans using that route. Whatever happened to football special trains then? I suppose privatisation signalled the end of them.
Sparky_Mark Posted 4 April, 2012 Author Posted 4 April, 2012 I got mine on the group save 3, train into Clapham then from their to Thornton Heath, 21 quid each, still can't decide what time train to jump on, as our ticket is flexible, any idea whether were wearing red and white or yellow?
Pilchards Posted 5 April, 2012 Posted 5 April, 2012 Soton > Clapham Junction > Thornton Heath we are taking. What time is the train you are taking?
