I suspect they may be saying something very similar.
Professor Posted 1 April, 2012 Share Posted 1 April, 2012 I agree. Three points from this and enough goals, at least 4, to restore the GD after the Blackpool game is just what the doctor ordered. Give us a 4-0 win and things will look very different.
Thedelldays Posted 1 April, 2012 Share Posted 1 April, 2012 I suspect they may be saying something very similar. really...? REALLY..? could not get much harder for them they are fuked as a club just got hammered no future desperate for point not only do they have to go away to the team top of the table, the team with the best home record, most goals scored.. that team just happens to be their most fierce rivals who are absolutely DESPERATE to put many years or wrongs to be put right...fratton 4-1, the cheating FA cup game... my first game I can remember going to was around 1985 so I have never known such a derby to have so much riding on it for both clubs futures.... if we were in their position (we sort of were in 2005)..then visiting us would be the last game I would want
Stepgar Posted 1 April, 2012 Share Posted 1 April, 2012 Yesterday reminded me of the cup final year when we played the arsenal at highbury were gash, but when we played at Cardiff for the final a week or so later, top end performance. What's my point? Get the crap game out of the system yesterday destroy Pompey on Saturday. (hopefully)
kpturner Posted 1 April, 2012 Share Posted 1 April, 2012 I am inclined to think completely the reverse. I would prefer to be playing nobody Utd after that performance in the hope that we can get back on track without the added pressure of a derby. Has a good night out in Blackpool - Saints fans everywhere and an Indian restaurant owner who happened to come from this neck of the woods.....but the whole place is like going back in time 15 years. PS: Mr Corsacar, how come the spacebar on your keyboard doesn't work every time you key in a comma?

I guess you didn't read the original post. They also had a woeful performance, and will be looking to make amends against us in spades. Won't worry them we are top, nothing to lose, they will go out with no fear (and with a bit of luck) get absolutely hammered by us (mor elikely we will win 2-0, playing like pansies in the 2nd half knocking it around with no thought of going out and getting a hatful. I have 10-0 in the Prediction League, but will probably change it to something more sensible later in the week.
