Lifelongsaint83 Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Thank fu ck for that. I just don't understand why Saints find it so difficult to showcase themselves on live TV. Reading is on Sky too
Popester Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 This is just one of those games. Nothing has gone for us. We were due some bad luck after Leeds and Millwall away.Bad luck ? How is this bad luck ? Bad decisions and lack of ambition by ever person on that pitch
Jonnyboy Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 "Don't get too excited when we win a game. Don't get too down when we lose one."
Legod Third Coming Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Our tackling and pressure is so fecking wet.
verlaine1979 Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 We've been playing just like this for ages. Leeds away, Watford away, Millwall away, woeful performances just the right results. Spot on - this is a scoreline that's been on the cards since Leeds. We've been slow, sloppy and extremely lucky for weeks now.
Ade Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Reading will murder us. let's just hope Wet Spam keep losing... Right I'm off. Had enough of this rubbish
Red and White Russ Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Tv switched off, better things to do. Enough shouting at the box for one day.
Special K Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Getting spanked. ****ing embarrassing. Absolute gash.
Chez Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Philips waltzes past Butterfield. Then another aimless ball from Butterfield.
Lazlo78 Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 This is a tough one to cope with. Great saves by Davis, Sharp's penalty miss, the absolute non-penalty for Blackpool, Hooiveld's miss and the subsequent Route 1 goal. Managed to snap at my wife because she entered the room as Dobbie was doing his run-up, so things both on and off screen not looking too well. Too many decisions going against us today - ref has been quite shocking
Legod Third Coming Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 There again, Blackpool simply want this more. Why?
Suhari Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 So the footie is dire. I'll just stare at the fit barmaid then. Hmmmmm.
dubai_phil Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 How many hours did Liquidshok travel for this game? 30 hours from NZ then straight up - eek And thank Fook I'm not staying over in Blackpool tonight
Window Cleaner Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 There again, Blackpool simply want this more. Why? their cup final and past histories with Holloway.
Legod Third Coming Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 FFS, we've had three chances and scored none. They've had three and scored three...
Lazlo78 Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Right. Got that off my chest. Now for what we can do with the last half hour. We need to regain confidence, work as a team, score a goal or two. That might not help us in this match, but we'll need that confidence going in to the next one. Like the 2nd half against Cardiff set us off on a good run. COYS!
ThreeSixty Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Been pretty decent in the 2nd half, all things considered.
Window Cleaner Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 So the footie is dire. I'll just stare at the fit barmaid then. Hmmmmm. She's probably gay...one of those days
SaintPC Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Knew it would be a hard game, but we just haven't turned up today. Makes the Reading game all the more important. Blackpool are playing well but they are by no means the greatest team I've ever seen.Good to hear the vocal saints supporters still singing especially as there is nothing from Blackpool considering they are 3 up on the league leaders. If that doesn't make you sing nothing will!!!
Saints Mad Si Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Blackpool tactics have been spot on, two nippy wingers to stop our fullbacks pushing forward, always putting Fonte and Hoiveld under pressure. Simple really, oh and nothing up front for us, Billy is a fox in the box player but we just haven't given him the service so it makes him look sh**.
Chez Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Fox too casual. Fans singing only thing worth shouting about.
dubai_phil Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 meanwhile I'm off downstairs to test whether Wyld Wood works as well with Zubrowka Vodka as I think it may If nothing else it will dull the pain

The Saints fans are coming through excellently - they really can be proud of their support in a game, where there has been little on the pitch to be happy about.
Legod Third Coming Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Lallana has been as poor as Guly, yet no one says a thing??
dubai_phil Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 She's probably gay...one of those days Well he did say he was going to just watch
Ohio Saint Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 The Saints fans are coming through excellently - they really can be proud of their support in a game, where there has been little on the pitch to be happy about. This
Window Cleaner Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Lallana has been as poor as Guly, yet no one says a thing?? I think you get infraction points for that.
Dr Who? Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Could be a blessing in disguise. I remember us going to Rochdale last season with a game in hand, and lost 2-0. We offered very little that game, and then won 6 on the spin.
alpine_saint Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Following this with such a sinking feeling in my stomach. Definitely reckon we are watching the title pass us by today. And auto promotion ? We are making that difficult for ourselves in time-honoured Saints tradition....
dubai_phil Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Lallana has been as poor as Guly, yet no one says a thing?? me me ME. I did, me - do I win a prize?
saintsmike25 Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Final thoughts, we were poor but holloway set up his team very well and they have played excellently. We couldn't cope with the pace or tenacity. Lessons to learn no doubt.
Monk Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Who the **** is going to buy us now we are for sale and loosing on t.v. RL is stuck in hospital and will like every other bugger contract some sort of bug. The training ground won't be built and we will have to train at Testwood Park.
Window Cleaner Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 FFS Dave, Sharp is one of the problems, you're making it sound as if he's the dog's nuts and everybody else is crap.
CWD Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Following this with such a sinking feeling in my stomach. Definitely reckon we are watching the title pass us by today. And auto promotion ? We are making that difficult for ourselves in time-honoured Saints tradition.... Still in the driving seat for autos but on today's performances you have to make Reading favourites for the title.
captainchris Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 Iv'e put effort into cooking the tea to be honest. Really poor EFFORT.....
Legod Third Coming Posted 31 March, 2012 Posted 31 March, 2012 me me ME. I did, me - do I win a prize? Yes, a night with a gay barmaid apparently...
