Neutrals who see us on tv must wonder how the f'k we are top of the league.

they will make the incorrect assumption that we're a one man team. That we're Dagenham with Rickie Lambert.Pity

Which may work in our favour when we reach the Prem... if we reach the Prem...

this is painful to watch. have to take this on the chin. we were always going to lose one but the manner is very disappointing.

We've been playing just like this for ages. Leeds away, Watford away, Millwall away, woeful performances just the right results.

We'd have scored the penalty and all might have been different.

It would have been different. Blackpool were nervous early on until we gave them a chance and since then all we have done is boost their confidence...

well now its about protecting the GD and the extra point

You might have a point but we are still 13 goals better off (imagine its effectively 14 as presume we have scored more).

That said another couple of these and it's squeaky bum time.

Poor tactics today, missing Lambert massively and awful performance.

True. We've been riding our luck for a while, just needs to last a bit longer...

No only Middlesbough.

Thank fu ck for that. I just don't understand why Saints find it so difficult to showcase themselves on live TV.

If we go up, I want Guly out of here. He's shown NOTHING all game, and as much as people may want to stay loyal to their team no matter what, he's done NOTHING far too many times this season. Was bloody lucky to get that penalty too, went looking for it after the slightest of contact.

Billy Sharp? Billy Blunt at the moment, the two don't look as if they've ever bloody met let alone played together. You cannot excuse poor marking, third goal was just shooting ourselves in the foot. This is an abject display and one that I hope I never see again.

Whatever happens in the next half an hour, or indeed the next 6 games, the fact remains that this first hour has been completely unacceptable.
