hypochondriac Posted 7 November, 2008 Share Posted 7 November, 2008 My friend stood on their Toshiba laptop which now has a cracked screen. I don't think it is in warrenty. What would be the best route to go down to get it fixed?
Mewsta Posted 8 November, 2008 Share Posted 8 November, 2008 Purchase a new screen and get it installed by somebody that knows what they are doing. I've brought from these people before and replaced a screen..... http://www.lcds4less.co.uk/

Michelle Posted 9 November, 2008 Share Posted 9 November, 2008 Agree with the last two posts. We moved our sofa around ages ago and my laptop was leaning against it, it dropped and ballsed the screen up. Claimed on home insurance, and within 10 days I had a nice new washing machine, tumble dryer and laptop. Result.
