Steeleye Saint Posted 31 March, 2012 Share Posted 31 March, 2012 We scored two goals without him last week so let's hope we can do the same today!
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 31 March, 2012 Share Posted 31 March, 2012 Adkins plays his card close to his chest. He isn't rested. I guarantee a few will argue. Indeed...we shall see...
Saint_clark Posted 31 March, 2012 Share Posted 31 March, 2012 Even without Lambert, we should still go up. No excuses - it's just a shame that it looks like he won't be able to get the Championship top scorer record.
supersonic Posted 31 March, 2012 Share Posted 31 March, 2012 Look, stop panicking! If he did have an operation, why was he training in Wednesday? If he needed one he would have had it Monday. Plus it's a groin strain, which was picked up in training, not the same reason he came off against Donny

Saint_clark Posted 31 March, 2012 Share Posted 31 March, 2012 He will? Kevin Phillips second top scorer with 16, Lambert has 24? Record, as in beating Ebanks-Blakes total goals (can't remember how many it was).

Dr Who? Posted 31 March, 2012 Share Posted 31 March, 2012 Clubs cover up bad injuries to key players, even to the rest of the squad. They do this to keep team morale up.
Lifelongsaint83 Posted 31 March, 2012 Share Posted 31 March, 2012 Jordan Sibley @jordansibley Rumours of Lambert having an op & out for rest of the season are wide of the mark. Trained Thursday but not quite right for today #saintsfc

Ewell Posted 31 March, 2012 Share Posted 31 March, 2012 How we need him tonight. We are a different team without him. No one else up front can hold the ****ing ball up.
S-Clarke Posted 31 March, 2012 Share Posted 31 March, 2012 How we need him tonight. We are a different team without him. No one else up front can hold the ****ing ball up. He's key to how we play. I don't think we're a one man team as such because we do have other quality players, but he's such a key man for us. The long balls we're hitting up top today are pointless and we have no one to hold it up. Unless we change our game plan we will struggle if he's out long-term. Whitey Grandad Posted 31 March, 2012 Share Posted 31 March, 2012 I'd he's not quite ready then it's best to save him for the important games. We can write this one off. Probably.
St Chalet Posted 31 March, 2012 Share Posted 31 March, 2012 Since he is not out for the season, perhaps we can let this thread pass away.
