Why would he be training on Thursday with the rest of the squad in preparation for the Blackpool game, if he knew he was about to have an operation on Friday that would put him out for the rest of the season? He wouldn't risk causing more damage by training before an operation. You lying bastard. If it was a bad injury they would try things before going for surgery, fact. + He's all over the saints player videos from Thursday training.. I think your source is having you on. He may well not be quite 100% today, but he hasn't had surgery.

You still haven't explained the logic behind a man having an operation booked on Friday, to then train with a professional sports team the day before. Lambert was in training on Thursday. If he knew he was out for the rest of the season, he wouldn't be training the day before an operation. It would be pointless and potentially make the injury even worse. He would be resting in preparation for the operation. I'm intrigued as to how you will explain away that!
