Pompey will as likely as not beat Burnley though, might even grapple their way out of the bottom 3.Who cares anyway.

Can't believe how badly Burnley have crumbled,Howe will be sacked soon if he doesn't get some better results.

It's weird, I think any result at Upton Park would be good. If Wham do win this, we're at least 5 pionts ahead of Reading with a much better run in. All ifs and buts.

Overall though, I think a draw is best.

It's the gap to third I'm most concerned about, so anything but a WHam win is what I'd like. Even Reading winning and us losing keeps the gap to third the same as it is now, which isn't a terrible outcome to the weekend. A draw would be ideal with us winning though.

Nah! a Reading win for me, put a barrier up between 1st and 3rd.

But if Reading won, then they could only be 2 points behind us and we still have to play them. 2 points dropped each keeps them both at arms length.

Before Wham beat Posh, I'd have agreed with you.

Does it matter in the grand scheme of things if that does happen? Keeping ourselves in the automatic spots is the priority.

If WH win today I think we still have to look at the positive (less chance of promotion - the most important bit) but more chance of winning the league. I though Huddersfield last year was scary!!!!

I don't think there is a bad result for us in the West Ham game. If WH win, Reading wobble ahead of a run of horrible games. The more I look at the fixtures, the more I think it's us and West Ham.
