Does anyone think we wont go up ?

you used the word mong in your last 3 posts. Is it a new word you've just learnt?

Here we are on the eve of a the most anticipated match of the season and here you are castigating fans who are getting behind the team and being positive. Like I said you're a d1ckhead.

Yeah, I just got it from the same dictionary that you got "castigating" - your first 4-syllable word of your life - from.

Because it showed us that a well-organised team, in our faces, with pace and energy, could snuff us out and steal a goal.

The Skates might be scraping the bottom of the barrel, but Appleton is not a bad gaffer and I expect us to face something similar tomorrow.

But it still doesn't mean that result turned our season, or will have any bearing on how it finishes - because it won't. We won plenty of games after that as I said, Bristol City were just a bit of a boggy side for us this year for some reason. And it would have been naive to think we'd win at home all season, it wasn't going to happen and when it did happen it would have been bloody frustrating - which it was.

We're in an amazing position and it's a position I never expected us to be in, I thought we'd be in and around the top 10 - with a chance of the playoffs. This season has excelled expectations and we have to trust the guys to take us over the line, because they've been terrific for the last 3 years. They will not let us down, or themselves down.

Dont be a pr*ck, I will be as gutted as the rest of you.

No you won't, your podgy little fingers will be a blur as you tip tap away telling everyone how right you were. You'd love every minute of it.

There is no need to do that. I am not challenging anyone about the result on here. I am expressing my fears, and will delighted to benefit some deserving cause if I am proven wrong.

Nonetheless a bet is a bet. Funds to the Saints Foundation?

And please stop using the word "mong". Its entirely unnecessary and insulting, but not in the way that you want it to be.

Apline has now, unsurprisingly, gone silent.

I was putting my son to bed, got a problem with that ?

Really, that comment is f**king stupid. I have a life off here, unlike some of you, apparently.

If Saints dont win or lose by only 1 goal or draw, I will donate 20 quid to charity. We just need to decide which. I would prefer Help for Heroes or the NSPCC, myself.

Anyone can say they've made a donation, how will we know you haven't spent the money at dunkin donuts?

I joined in the pettiness because I object to being called a c**t and a d1ckhead for expressing my opinion.

ha ha, you do this every time. You start off by calling fans mongs etc and then run to the mods when an insult comes back your way.

A nice post from a Norwich fan, lifted from another forum:

I have a feeling it might be a similar sort of thing in this one. 4-1 Saints.

Nspcc, I am happy with.

Screen shot of donation screen showing amount of donation and nspcc official page will suffice no doubt?

So ALPINE, you have me, kraken and glasgow so far. That's 60 if you lose...

No its not. I said I would give 20 to charity. I never said I was looking for one on one bets.

Suggest you go back and check the sequence of the events, my fine illiterate friend...

EDIT: My mistake, I got sh*tty first. My apologies to all. I am nervous.

I know that the maths will say otherwise but I think anything less than a win tomorrow will lead to us ending in third place. Games against the likes of Blackpool or Brighton in the play offs, we will blow.

That's a silly way of looking at it really. And there is no logic really in what you say.

We'll drop points in the run in, whether it's tomorrow or not remains to be seen - but even if we do, we're still in a great position with it all in our hands.

We have no chance in the playoffs, imo.

How can a team that was top for about 80% of the season who end up in the playoffs raise their game for 3 more matches ? Especially considering our record against the other 3 teams is not particularly good.

I will take the bet, so 40 quid could go to charity but your potential cost stays at 20, if you promise to do the truffle shuffle and post it on you tube. Agreed?

why will tomorrow be the hardest game all season....harder than west ham at home..or reading at home next week..or blackpool at home...?

I could not think of a better game to put last week to bed...a shyte team, with a few kids, a few loanees and admittedly, a few decent players.

they are not a fluid team, they are a team scraping the barrel...

we have said shyt team at home...and saints really DO get it right for the big games....many times towards the run-in last season, brighton away, west ham away, reading away (down to 10 men and brought it back to 1-1)...JPT final....

most of the first team have been a part of all that...lambert is back, we are at home, the home fans will make sure it is one hell of an atmosphere..

if we were at frattom tomorrow I would maybe agree that it would be a very difficult game..but we are not, we are at home and the will to win within our team will be so strong...

3-0 to saints..
