mdearlove Posted 28 March, 2012 Share Posted 28 March, 2012 Nice to see the players acting as role models! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17536760
This Charming Man Posted 28 March, 2012 Share Posted 28 March, 2012 Brilliant stuff. That was South Americanesque! As for the role model comment, they're professional sportsmen, not children's TV presenters.
skintsaint Posted 28 March, 2012 Share Posted 28 March, 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GiGAZ8h88n4 love how the ref doesnt get involved and just backs away making a mental note of who was involved rather than in the middle trying to break it up and missing half the punches behind his back

Sheaf Saint Posted 28 March, 2012 Share Posted 28 March, 2012 Excellent windmilling from the Bradford keeper I thought
Lord Duckhunter Posted 28 March, 2012 Share Posted 28 March, 2012 Isn't that the Andrew Davies who played for us, says he's been sent off 3 times this season now. I liked the way the bloke commentating said "the ref's lost complete control" like he's supposed to do something about it, it's hardly the refs fault. On Talksport the local media guy said the ref sent the 5 players off in the dressing room after. Crawley and their Manager have little class and like to wind people up. Turkish Posted 29 March, 2012 Share Posted 29 March, 2012 Personally I'm looking forward to seeing the dawn raids on television with a camera crew following the police on one of them so they can broadcast the arrests in a blaze of publicity for "operation turkey" I also await the newspaper reports declaring the battle on the pitch as resembling a scene from Braveheart and tales of 75 year old men and pregnant women running for their lives. I can't wait to here the chief superidendant tell the world he'll be pushing for the stiffest possible sentences to stamp out this sort of behaviour. Which will lead to ten year bans and prison sentences of 2-4 years and everyone with 200 yards being put kn the risk file.

buctootim Posted 29 March, 2012 Share Posted 29 March, 2012 (edited) Prompted me to watch the 1989 Lions v Australia match again. About five separate fights in that match - in an international broadcast live to millions. Cracking entertainment. THINWHITEDUKE Posted 30 March, 2012 Share Posted 30 March, 2012 Anyone know why it kicked off so badly? No apparent history between the two clubs?
This Charming Man Posted 30 March, 2012 Share Posted 30 March, 2012 Anyone know why it kicked off so badly? No apparent history between the two clubs? One of the Crawley players called George Galloway a 'mug' so Bradford went berserk.
