Posh Away

We'll get enough tickets for everyone going to have 2 each.

Expect around 4/5k tickets.

You serious? What's capacity at London Road?

I'm intending to go to Posh and Boro away if I can - but assumed getting into Peterborough could be a big ask even for a STH (I only have 3 away games to my name this season)

They have a large terrace which holds around 4,500 and then you get around 500 seats along the side.

according to west ham official website mate they had 3500 terrace and 1500 seats, so would expect us to have the same, maybe they have to limit the numbers on the terrace due to safety, will be magic being on there for a game like this if we sell out, can't quite see it myself with Palace the week before already 6000 going and the potential for huge numbers to go to Middlesbrough the saturday after.

we'll have at least 5k tickets you'll get one no problem, more likely be able to pay on the day as can't see us taking that many midweek.

I can see us taking 5k if there's a chance that a win will secure auto-promotion or secure the title....and that does seem quite possible.

We won't sell out 5k midweek at Posh. A lot of people already doing Palace and then maybe a long trip to Boro. If you think about it, only 700 made it to Hull.

Rather easier to get to Peterborough. no?

Plus Hull wasn't a "win and we're up" game (although was a massive win, of course)

Of course it's easier to get to than Hull, why are you asking me that?

I could be wrong, but we didn't sell out at Derby in the paly off game?

I'm suggesting Posh away is going to sell more than Hull away. Partly because the game might be decisive, partly because of geography.

It seems we could have sold many, many more for Palace, so I don't think 5K is impossible at all.

We only JUST sold it out IIRC, literally the day before or so.

Our fans like nice easy games, hence why we've sold 5,800 tickets easily for Palace. Then there are games that involve a little bit more than simply getting a train to London, that's where we don't fare so well (though we've gotten better this season!) and is why we will not sell 5,000 tickets for Posh.

Of course we'll sell more tickets for Posh than Hull. No-one said selling 5k is "impossible". Just pretty unlikely. HTH.

I'd say it's pretty likely IF a win would be decisive in clinching promotion.

but chances are we won't know that until after the Reading game the Friday before, so we'll either have a lot of people buying tickets on the off chance, or a rush for tickets over the weekend

A rush, I'd imagine.

Although it's not really too different to selling play-off tickets.
