Shroppie Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Earn a win on Saturday and we're 8 or 9 points clear of 3rd with equal games played. Exactly this. Worry about our results and nothing else matters. CTC!
Jimmy_D Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Exactly this. Worry about our results and nothing else matters. CTC! Haha, took me a few seconds of remembering Adkinsisms before I realised what that was...

Glasgow_Saint Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Not the best test of results. Still wouldnt swap with Reading or WHU!!
Jonnyboy Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Please please please beat the skates at SMS boys!
S-Clarke Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Not the best test of results. That was always going to happen though, there's no way WHU would have dropped points tonight. We can't have results go for us every week! they've been amazing the last few weeks.
Stepgar Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Still wouldnt swap with Reading or WHU!! Totally agree always better to have points on the board than games in hand. Just would have liked to see WH and POmpey lose that's all. Don't want anyone to give Pompey confidence and they seem to ahe found a bit f form of late. I want to destroy them in a couple 0f weeks time.
James Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Not the best result for us but at the end of the day I was expecting WHU to win this one. With reading and WHU playing each other at the weekend we have got an advantage as one of them will drop points. We are still in the driving seat.
Frank's cousin Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Actually think a draw between them is better for us, especially if we bag a win at Blakppol - would leave us 7 points clear of Reading and 8 ahead of WHU... with eveyone still with 6 to go.... getting squeaky time now...
JRM Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 skates at home is going to be a lot tougher than some fans realise, i can't beleive how many people i've heard talking about it in terms of not IF we'll win but by how many, could be a shock for some, if they can avoid defeat at St Marys and take one step closer to staying up i don't think we can really sing who the f*ck is laughing now.
Dr Who? Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 If West Ham and Reading draw, and we win, I really do think it is all over. 8 clear of West Ham with 6 left? I know we should not think this but deep down we really would like to think so. We will draw though and it will be another game out of the way.
Micky Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Not a lot went for us tonight - but we've had a few days recently where all the result fell nicely for us so hard to complain. Never really saw West Ham losing tonight, so not overly disappointed, need to go to Blackpool and get something though - should be an interesting weekend.
svetigpung Posted 28 March, 2012 Posted 28 March, 2012 Not every midweek night can be a Carlsberg night. When they come they're a bit special. Big game for everyone involved this saturday.

Thats true enough, we've had some good scorelines lately to go with the winning streak. Cant expect it to just carry on like that. I am hoping for a whu/reading draw though. Got a slightly bad feeling about blackpool, if I was offered a point now I'd probably take it.
Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 28 March, 2012 Posted 28 March, 2012 We all know where we are now; let the final battle commence! Think we'll get something at Blackpool & something has to give between West Ham & Reading.
yorkie Posted 28 March, 2012 Posted 28 March, 2012 Control the controllables - we have no control over other games all we need to do is concentrate on our own! Blackpool on Saturday first knowing what WHU & Reading have done at 3pm could be a help or a hinderance. A WHU win could start the collywobbles(!) but I think after last year we know how to handle pressure. Twisty turny stuff to come...keep the faith and we will go up as Champions! Best not forget Pompey's resurgance either...oh I just did!
