Nexstar Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 They're playing against Brighton Saints U21s Vs Brighton: Forecast. Stephens, Jaidi, Seaborne, O'Sullivan. Curtis, Robinson, Moore, Reeves. Falque, Doble. No Bart, dare I suggest Kelvin may have taken a knock in training?
Minty Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 No Bart, dare I suggest Kelvin may have taken a knock in training? You can suggest it, but I don't think this game and Forecast playing has any bearing on that possibility.

Falque, Doble. No Bart, dare I suggest Kelvin may have taken a knock in training? Reeves is back? Hadn't seen that. Bit of a mixed team there, few names I'm not that familiar with.
Lets B Avenue Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Reeves is back? Hadn't seen that. Bit of a mixed team there, few names I'm not that familiar with. He didnt play the last few games for the Daggers, so assume he went for a month and that was it.
Saint Garrett Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Would have thought it would have been better off staying there, or coming back like Holmes did and then go back out to someone else.
Saint Garrett Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Falque has just scored.....run the length of the pitch then scored apparently
Nadia Sllim Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Forecast in the Development squad, nice way of earning your £16,000 a month.
Saint Charlie Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Reckon we might sign Falque from Spurs in the the summer on a perm deal. His loan would make more sense then. Clearly has talent too...

Don't think we can? He's only on loan at Spurs and signing for them in the Summer or something stupid like that... Really strange bit of business if I recall.
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 No Falque signed permanently for Spurs and that same day he signed on loan for us.

Really strange bit of business if I recall. He signed for them in January so could move again in the summer if needed. Makes sense for Spurs as they would make a bit of profit on him. otherwise there isn't much point him being here, and his loan could have been terminated mutually. Also, if there was no long term plan why play him in these games where he is stopping one of our players from playing?
Lighthouse Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Didn't Spuds pay about £3m for him? Really can't see us signing him for that kind of money went he can't even make the bench in the NpC.
trousers Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 No Falque signed permanently for Spurs and that same day he signed on loan for us. I think there was some speculation at the time that Spurs might have done that as a means to an end in that they had to sign him in order to loan him out (i.e. you can't loan a loanee). Would there be anything stopping Spurs selling him on so soon after just buying him? I wouldn't rule it out.
trousers Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 You can suggest it, but I don't think this game and Forecast playing has any bearing on that possibility. I must admit, I had the same initial thought as Nexstar. It would seem a bit against the norm not to give Bart a run out in the reserves. Quite possibly we're in 2+2=5 territory here but there could be something in it. there again, maybe there isn't.

Bart is probably busy looking for a new club, don't think he's much future at SMS really.
trousers Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Forecast played the last game. Ah, fair dos. Still seems a bit odd to not give your No.2 keeper match practice though
trousers Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 @officialsaints: Saints pressing for a second here, had most of the play in 2nd half. Falque closest to scoring, but his shot hit the bar #saintsfc
Shroppie Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Or is Bart injured, hence not on bench recently?
Matthew Le God Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Or is Bart injured, hence not on bench recently? Bialkowski hasn't been injured. In every game home and away Saints haven't had a keeper on the bench, Bialkowski has been warming up with Kelvin Davis on the pitch before kickoff. Plus he has been in full training the entire time. Saints haven't had a keeper on the bench because Adkins wants more outfield options to choose from.
Window Cleaner Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Perhaps the entire first team group have been given some time off, would explain why Bart isn't there as it would Martin. Maybe they had winding down and debrief on Sunday and have Monday and Tuesday off.
Window Cleaner Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Brighton go 2-1 up. Forecast OUT! nope,he's got another year on his contract I think.

Maybe they had winding down and debrief on Sunday and have Monday and Tuesday off. Why look for stuff that isn't there? Seaborne and Jaidi have started about the last 4 Dev games. martin barely played for them all season! Forecast played at least the last match as well.
