How many times a day do you look at the League Table?

Mrs Tame says that I am obsessed but I find that I look at the table 4 times a day. (She BTW now knows another Saints player to add to her knowledge of MLT and "that tall lanky one"- Adam Milana)

Early in the morning sets up the day nicely. A couple of times during the day sees me get through work OK and then one more check before bedtime to make sure that we are still top.

Tonight of course, the table will change after Wham play. That may upset the routine a little.

Yesterday, I even cut'n'pasted the table into an Excel spreadsheet and calculated the potential maximum points for all the other teams and then greyed out all the ones that could no longer overhaul our current total. Very satisfying.

I'm obsessed by it at the moment. I've got the league open in a browser all day long and I've got a text file open with all of our results and upcoming fixtures including Reading and WHam.

At least once an hour I'm working out ifs and but ifs with upcoming games in my head.

Every week, I screen capture the relevant section of the BBC website, then save the file to my Dropbox account. Then I go on my iPhone and change my lock screen on the phone to the latest screen capture. That way, I can check the current League Table any time I want, and certainly more than the odd 3 or 4 times a day. Sounds like a sad routine I know, but it means I have a history of our league positions all season. IF we go up, I shall publish them somewhere useful, like Flickr.
