Tamesaint Posted 27 March, 2012 Share Posted 27 March, 2012 (edited) Mrs Tame says that I am obsessed but I find that I look at the table 4 times a day. (She BTW now knows another Saints player to add to her knowledge of MLT and "that tall lanky one"- Adam Milana) Early in the morning sets up the day nicely. A couple of times during the day sees me get through work OK and then one more check before bedtime to make sure that we are still top. Tonight of course, the table will change after Wham play. That may upset the routine a little. Edited 27 March, 2012 by Tamesaint

Guy Posted 27 March, 2012 Share Posted 27 March, 2012 Yesterday, I even cut'n'pasted the table into an Excel spreadsheet and calculated the potential maximum points for all the other teams and then greyed out all the ones that could no longer overhaul our current total. Very satisfying.
Brizzie Saints Posted 27 March, 2012 Share Posted 27 March, 2012 Yesterday, I even cut'n'pasted the table into an Excel spreadsheet and calculated the potential maximum points for all the other teams and then greyed out all the ones that could no longer overhaul our current total. Very satisfying. I did that on sunday, Spooky eh. I'll probably look about 5+ times a day too
Ampersound Posted 27 March, 2012 Share Posted 27 March, 2012 I'm obsessed by it at the moment. I've got the league open in a browser all day long and I've got a text file open with all of our results and upcoming fixtures including Reading and WHam. At least once an hour I'm working out ifs and but ifs with upcoming games in my head.

Whitey Grandad Posted 27 March, 2012 Share Posted 27 March, 2012 I don't need to look at the table. It's imprinted in my brain.
Barry the Badger Posted 27 March, 2012 Share Posted 27 March, 2012 I look at it after a match, and then I wait for the next match. Now the fixture list, that's another matter.

stockportsaint Posted 27 March, 2012 Share Posted 27 March, 2012 Every week, I screen capture the relevant section of the BBC website, then save the file to my Dropbox account. Then I go on my iPhone and change my lock screen on the phone to the latest screen capture. That way, I can check the current League Table any time I want, and certainly more than the odd 3 or 4 times a day. Sounds like a sad routine I know, but it means I have a history of our league positions all season. IF we go up, I shall publish them somewhere useful, like Flickr. bender Posted 27 March, 2012 Share Posted 27 March, 2012 I don't need to look at the table. It's imprinted in my brain. This. We are 9 points clear of Wham and 5 of Reading and that's all that matters. After every result I look at it again a few times.
Ohio Saint Posted 27 March, 2012 Share Posted 27 March, 2012 Even one of our past managers confessed to leaving good results up on teletext for hours after the game. I can't remember which one it was though.
