Raging Bull Posted 26 March, 2012 Posted 26 March, 2012 Need a little help, the father in law's got every single sky channel and doesn't care if I use sky go to watch the football on. Question is can I watch it on my big screen, if so what do I need to do this, an air play device or something?
martyg1950 Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 I use this. I have a HDMI leads from the computer vid card to the tv. That said, the bitrate can be very low, even if you select high quality, in my experience it's rare that the quality is good enough to look good on a big screen. Not quite as bad as the skyplayer vid quality, but often not much better either.
Pancake Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Best bet is watching SkyGo on a iPad to be honest.
Crazy Diamond Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 I recently got Sky back, their broadband deal was pretty good, but I'm not sure about Sky Go to be honest. I've got a Slingbox, it's very good, worth checking out if you can spare a few quid.
Saint_Jonny Posted 27 March, 2012 Posted 27 March, 2012 Looks good on an xbox 360 on the bigish screen. I think the sky go server is a bit crap under heavy load though so can become a bit choppy. Worth doing if its free though like you say.
