saintoaks Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 Just picked my ticket up for the skates match and the TO said they only had a few remaining. So it will defo be a sell out. Sha lala...
This Charming Man Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 Ordered some for my brother and his mates this morning and could only get tickets in Block 13.
The Fat Controller Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 Got mine at lunchtime block 13, a couple of hundred left
trousers Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 Picking mine up on the day of the game. Block 11. My 11 year old son's first ever derby game. It's nip and tuck as to who is more excited right now.

trousers Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 take it you got a reply to your email to the TO No, I phoned them up in the end. They said it was OK to pick tickets up on the day, from 9am onwards. Still think it's a bit off that they chose not to reply to my emails though. Great customer service....
Sour Mash Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 skates have sold 2984 of their 3200 allocation, last selling day is today, so 200 more could be available. DO they get the full 3.2k at ours? No additionall segregation? Bit unrelated, but just been told that Reading have sold out their allocation for our place. That's half decent despite their great run, considering their usually pretty average support and the fact that loads of them did West Ham and will do Brighton.

Dr Who? Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 We managed to get three tickets in Itchen this morning. Must have missed that text!
pap Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 Must have missed that text! You can blame Lee. If you dare.
Dr Who? Posted 2 April, 2012 Posted 2 April, 2012 You can blame Lee. If you dare. To be fair, if I had bought him tickets in the past, and we had each others numbers I would, but I will settle of meeting for an Ale before the big kick off!
Miffy Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Showing as sold out on the OS online booking system. Just hospitality left.

This Charming Man Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Just had a look and tickets are still available on-line. Block 6 as well, so fairly decent seats.
Miffy Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Just had a look and tickets are still available on-line. Block 6 as well, so fairly decent seats. How strange, when I checked earlier it came up SOLD OUT. ?
sotonjoe Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Just had a look and tickets are still available on-line. Block 6 as well, so fairly decent seats. I think block six only has a few rows for purchase because it has the hospitality in it from about half way back. I expect the remaining tickets are in the first couple of rows so they won't be that 'great'. Better than nothing though.
sotonjoe Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 And yes, there are still seats available in block 6. Row B to be precise. Just checked.

Very decent seats they are, close to half way line, one of the best views in the ground.
Sour Mash Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 How strange, when I checked earlier it came up SOLD OUT. ? Never rely on our on-line system for anything. It's absolutely useless.

sotonjoe Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Very decent seats they are, close to half way line, one of the best views in the ground. I know where they are, and, as I said, they are right down the front, which, in my opinion, means they aren't that great at all. They're better than nothing if you're desperate for tickets though.

sotonjoe Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Sat there for the Preston cup game and thought they were pretty decent seats. Each to their own though. Just saying that the view gets better as you go further up (up to a certain point of course). I don't think that watching the game when your eye level is just a few feet above the pitch makes for a very interesting game as you can't see very much at all.

I don't think that watching the game when your eye level is just a few feet above the pitch makes for a very interesting game as you can't see very much at all. I personally prefer sitting (well standing) about half way back but moved for the Preston game and I thought it was decent. Still, it's better than nothing which is the other option.

Can abuse the skates' bench and subs well from there I reckon. Silver lining for having a poor view I reckon.
This Charming Man Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Can abuse the skates' bench and subs well from there I reckon. Silver lining for having a poor view I reckon. It is right behind their bench. A boiling cup of Bovril chucked over them would be just grand.

They're better than nothing if you're desperate for tickets though. Ive sat there a few times, i think they're pretty decent. In a geeky sort of way it's quite interesting watching the benches as well whilst the game is going on.
mucky.fingers Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Only restricted view tickets left now. Didn't think we had any RV at St. Marys??
This Charming Man Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Only restricted view tickets left now. Didn't think we had any RV at St. Marys?? They're the seats right behind the dugout, so imagine they're restricted view in the sense you'll have subs (or sub in this case) and coaches stood up in front of you.
Sour Mash Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Only restricted view tickets left now. Didn't think we had any RV at St. Marys?? Out of interest, are they any cheaper?
liquidsnake Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2718627,00.html No collections on match day?!
This Charming Man Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 They just posted an article on the OS about limited availability and have removed it pretty much straight away. Think it has now sold out by the looks of it on-line.
trousers Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2718627,00.html No collections on match day?! Not what I was told! That link doesn't work btw....
liquidsnake Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 I'm hoping because it contained the sentence "all collections must be made by 5pm on Friday 6 April, as this will not be possible on the day".
trousers Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 I'm hoping because it contained the sentence "all collections must be made by 5pm on Friday 6 April, as this will not be possible on the day". I'm gonna kick up one big stink if they go back on what they said when I called them the other day.
stevy777_x Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Read that too. Is that a joke? Surely you must be able to collect them on the day?
SaintNeil90 Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 Restricted view seating? Where are they at SMS :S
Sour Mash Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 I've said it 1000 times before our ticket office - utterly incompetent.
richardc Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 ive just called and told me its sold out - anyone have two spare tickets they want to sell
liquidsnake Posted 3 April, 2012 Posted 3 April, 2012 I'm gonna kick up one big stink if they go back on what they said when I called them the other day. Closed the tab on my PC so lost it but the article is still on the mobile site, and says... Fingers crossed that's the reason it's been deleted, and the article will go back up shortly without that bit in it. If this turns out to be the case I'm screwed as I'm up in London until Saturday, standard Ticket Office shambles!
