Are there any tickets available on the day for this one? Desperate to know as I have to book a ferry. Looked on usual sites but no info available. Cheers in advance if you can let me know.

I can get the two I have spare to you, see my post above, email or private message me. Cheers

Everyone seems to be forgetting we have a game Saturday evening, and worrying more about WHU, PFC and finances or not as the case may be.

Any news on Lee or Guly? Either or both could make a huge difference. Weather forecast 10c and cloudy, the pitch will be as bumpy as hell I would imagine.

We win we win, we lose we lose. It's not season defining yet, but a win would be massive. Blackpool though are my danger team - I think they have a good attacking side although they lack consistancy - so it's about which Blackpool side turns up. We should have beaten them at SMS (Bloody Bart) but I can see a much stronger challenge coming from them at Bloomfield Road. I'm with others - I think a draw would be a very good result here, but we do have the edge to possibly win this. Lose? Not the end of the world, but it'd mean picking up a result in one of our other dodgy games, Palace or MBoro away.

Right, am driving down (thankfully have a full tank for the 490 mile round trip) for this one - have the secret sexy nun ready to be smuggled in just in case but will need to rely on the Web Troops (Ohio) to get them ready should we need them. Knowing the nuns are on the parade will help the lads no end - if push comes to shove, I'll stop the OWTS and sing the 'The Nuns are coming' so Adam et al know we have the will of the Lord behind us...

Bring it on.

27 21-Jan-12 H Crystal Palace W 2-1 (0-1) Grandin 85; Basham 90

28 31-Jan-12 H Coventry City W 2-1 (0-0) K Phillips 87; Taylor-Fletcher 90

33 25-Feb-12 A Bristol City W 3-1 (0-1) Ince 55, 84; K Phillips 87

I think I've found their biggest strength/danger/threat to us right here.

Those are three of their most recent games in which they've scored late goals, but if you look back over the season there's a lot more and it seems to be something of a specialty for them.

To be a goal down with five minutes to go and WIN in two consecutive games shows a serious capability.

We can't just defend our lead. We've got to outscore them and seriously keep going for 90 minutes.

According to the OS Lee will be pushing for a recall and Guly is a doubt.

Am actually starting to look forward to this one tbh and when we come up against teams like Blackpool etc then I'd be more than happy with a Draw But knowing Saints

I can see us Win But we'l see! Also the game between West Ham n Reading I wouldn't mind a Draw in that as I'd rather go up with Reading than West Ham and watch

them in the Play Offs But we'l see!

Am going to go for 2-2 with goals from Lambert n Sharp/Lalanna for Saints n K Philips n Matt Philips for Blackpool But we'l see!

Hope to see some of you on here there!!!

COYR!!! :D

Love your posts Ben COYR:D

Not sure how many tickets we have sold for this game, but it could look a bit embarrassing top of the league & loads of empty seats.

I'm sure we had just over 2000 tickets, but it seems we have plenty left, not gonna look good on the box.

& yes i am going...... Fair play to those that are gonna make the effort!

Usually suggests a fit team. Remember we used to be like that under WGS. But we are also a very fit team (Saints fit) and may not give them the opportunities that poorer teams (Bristol & Coventry) do, Palace also seem to run out of steam sometimes.

They've conceded quite a few late goals as well....

If Rickie Lambert is fit, I'm sure he'll play but if he's not, I'd be very interested to see Tadanari Lee and Billy Sharp together up front. Adkins says that one or two people may not be able to play due to being ill with colds. I hope that does not include Morgan, as his steady influence in midfield has been a major factor in the unbeaten run.

I know Jos has been ill with a cold. He put on Twitter that he had to pull out of the Darts event with fans and Phil Taylor because of it.

I think IF the wheels were to come off they would have done when we dropped to 2nd...but we came back stronger ad have been more 'efficient' especially away from home.If we win we're almost there, if we don't then there are plenty more games for us to pick up the points.

This is the match I have been dreading - it will define our run-in. Win and we're sailing - lose and the wheels come off. And you just know Philips will score - probably the winner too. I hate to say it once again, but it's got 3-1 to them written all over it. (;

Why does us losing mean that "the wheels come off"?? We could lose this, and go on to win all remaining games and win the title. Equally, we could lose this and end up only having to win another couple before the end of the season, depending on how WHU and Reading do. NA has said that there will be ups and downs still to come, and I don't see this game as any more 'defining' than P*mpey at home or Palace away. I don't understand the need for such constant doom and gloom or the idea that this game will define our season. Crazy on both counts.....

You could have said the same about any of the last dozen games and it would have been equally as daft.

I have dreaded the next game for most of the last 5 years but this is a different Saints. I'm looking forward to it. We could win, we could lose but if we do we are still a better side than Blackpool and statistics will show we are still the best in the league. This team didn't crack last year, why should it crack this year when it is an even better side with a fantastic manager.

Have faith. Enjoy, you miserable doom-monger.

Have you seen the preview on BBC page? Think the writer has been on the fizzy pop!

[h=2]MATCH PREVIEW[/h] Blackpool's got The Big One: the Championship's standout fixture of the weekend brings the leaders to town to take on the division's great entertainers.

These coastal clubs are awash with attacking talent, outscoring the rest of the division as they seek to sweep into the top flight on a tide of euphoria.

While the certainty of Southampton returning to the Premier League seems as cast-iron as Blackpool's piers, the hosts are set for another end-of-season white knuckle ride as they aim to get straight back to the top flight.

Steady on mate, you're not Stuart Hall.

Feelng quite content with this game. I agree with others and think a point would be a great point and keep pressure on Wham and Reading.

I think Sharp will get on the scoresheet and can see him being a massive player for us in the run in.

It will be interesting to see how we respond when/if we lose before the end of the season. That said under Adkins we have always responded well after a defeat.

I don't mean to be negative, but I think we'll slip to a narrow defeat in this one. Blackpool 2-1 Saints.

After West Ham away, I predicted we'd only lose two games during the run-in, and I've been spot on thus far (bar Hull away, where I thought we'd draw). I had tomorrow's game down as one of the defeats, with Boro away being the other.

Hope to be proved wrong though, as a win tomorrow would put us within touching distance, especially as one of West Ham and Reading will drop points.

Oh well, decision made for me then

Not the Pub.

Yet again a televised UK game not shown over here, I'll be polishing up some Nuns while watching JudderVision then.

Oh, and before you ask, NO, I will NOT be having Chicken tomorrow.

Which has no doubt doomed us to defeat.

Sorry, but I took one for the team last week, somebody else can have a go this weekend

This, for me, is the hardest game left, and the one I expect us not to get much from.

Sharp, I hope, will use the confidence of gettign 2 goals last week and carry on, him and Lambert to start again up front. If we defend well, we should be fine. They look quite shakey at the back, their defending for all 3 Reading goals last week was poor. If they play like that against us, we'll win.

I'm going for a 1-1 draw

I still don't understand attitudes towards this game. It's being built up like we're playing Barcelona or something.

And even if we do lose it, the wheels haven't and won't come off.

We will need to go on a run off form that was worse than January to fail. That's how close we are, in many ways we've 'bought' ourselves a bad result based on our terrific run of form recently.

Whatever happens this weekend, nothing is defined. This match is being needlessly built up.

I don't see how it will cause the wheels to fall off? Worst case scenario is we're still 5 points clear of 3rd with 6 to play

@adlallana1: On route up to Blackpool, massive buzz in the camp #COYR

Sounds like a hornet, there's a few of them around at the moment. Let's hope they catch it as a nasty sting to a key player wouldn't be good.

ps. Why are the players having to camp in Blackpool?

Guys, guys, guys. Unravel your knickers and have a look at my previous pre-match posts (which strangely enough we've then gone on to win). Then read my post again and search out the winky face thing. I think you'll then understand. LOL

Watched that gargantuan Ollie Holloway preview on Blackpool Player. God that guy really goes on and on. Sob sob sob, we are so hard done by etc. On the flip side the moron is absolutely LOATHED to give Saints any credit. Apparently we should have stayed at the Dell! Retard.

Getting nervous - not about the game, about getting back - car is now only 3/4 full, but its 490 miles return and I will need to cane it down the M74 and M6 through them hills and lakes to make kick off on time - any fuel likely to be at the hideously inflated Service stations? Will Lambo get annother hatrick? Will Sharp cut through their defence/ (boom boom) - will let you know on the 'just back from the match on fumes' thread tomorrow night... 3pts - have a good feeling about this Saints to win 3-1
