This may well have been asked before but I have done a search and couldn't find anything...

So, could anyone tell me what time the players arrive at St Mary's on a matchday (3pm kick off, Saturday etc)? Errol Jnr has got an SFC autograph book that he's keen to start filling...

Cheers

We had this subject not long back but I can't remember all of the details, you'd be better to ask again on the main forum or

look through the old thread going back about 3 weeks or a month. Anyway the players seem to have 2 choices of arrival time, those that want to take lunch get there at about 11.30 ish and those that don't have to be there for about 12.45/13.00 ish if

I remember correctly. Any way ask on the main forum.

looked it up for you

For what it's worth, been told the players enter the ground at the Chapel end, where they park their cars these days, as oppossed to the main entrance as they used to. Not sure how true that info is though.

Cheers for the advice folks, it was spot on

Me and the boy turned up about 11.40 and he got a pretty good haul of first-team autographs including Nigel Adkins and JC, JF, JH, RL, SDR, DH, KD, BS, JP, RC and some more.

A lot of them turned up around one so guessing the info of them having to be in by 1.15 was quite true too.

You do get some strange sorts collecting autographs though... Grown adults without kids. Quite a few anoraks on show...

Are you saying disabled people are 'strange'?

I remember watching a severely mentally disabled guy snubbing Fonte last year as Fonte automatically assumed this guy wanted his autograph. Fonte goes to grab the bloke's autograph pad and the bloke pulls it away, saying "No thanks. I don't want yours Jose." I lol'd.

Not disabled people, just the trainspotter-types with anoraks...

There were also blokes there getting about 10 team photos signed at the same time which were obviously going straight on ebay. Taking the p1ss a little...

Would recommend going down early if you've got kids though, my lad thought it was fantastic.
