SuperMikey Posted 21 March, 2012 Posted 21 March, 2012 Well, it's started again. I don't understand why they all jumped on Bilyana at the zoo for stealing their sales - surely London Zoo is big enough for them to split up into groups of 2 so they didn't get in each others way? Either way I think the wrong person was fired, either one of the other 2 should've gone before Bilyana imo.
the saint in winchester Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 We said the same about the zoo scene. Why didn't they split up and walk in different directions rather than walk en-masse?? And then have a go at Bily for trying to sell product!? Duh, get busy selling, girls. One of the better candidates, for sure - certainly the best looking! She came over really well on the BBC2 'You're Fired' prog after. Her only error was not shutting up before Sugar.

I don't think she was gonna get fired, she talked herself into getting fired. the blond was gonna get fired IMO right up to the final moments the foreign bird chopsed Alan Sugar again. A.S made the right call.

Gigersaint Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 I don't think she was gonna get fired, she talked herself into getting fired. the blond was gonna get fired right up to the final moments the foreign bird chopsed Alan Sugar again. A.S made the right call. That was my thoughts too, Alan Sugars summing up almost to the point of telling the blonde she was fired seemed the direction he was going. Once Bilyana started talking over him and pleading her case for staying again I think changed his mind and got shot of her instead.
Deano6 Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 I genuinely believe that was in the editing. I think Bilyana was always Sir Alan's choice, and she knew it, but the producers tried to make it more tense and fool you into thinking the blonde bint was sweating it at the end.
Hatch Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Even though the South Bank was a much better sales location, I still can't believe the blokes sold over a grands worth of that tat they were selling. All those mugs buying a crappy teddy for £10 / £15 thinking that would get them on TV probably.
Baj Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Local lad on there (a colleague of my mate) "Ricky Martin"
Doctoroncall Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Local lad on there (a colleague of my mate) "Ricky Martin" Hypo will be pleased.

ChrisPY Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Local lad on there (a colleague of my mate) "Ricky Martin" Dirty skate.
Ric Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 That's why I'd never be any good at it. I could never have the nerve to sell people absolute tat like that. Or pester people to buy rubbish they don't need. Why does the boardroom always start with every sat down and Alan Sugar then coming out the toilet? Oh, great... now that's what I'm going to be thinking every time I see the boardroom scenes
Pancake Posted 22 March, 2012 Posted 22 March, 2012 Local lad on there (a colleague of my mate) "Ricky Martin" Why the "? Fake name?
hamster Posted 25 March, 2012 Posted 25 March, 2012 Local girl from Sandwich is on it this year. Local view is that she is lovely, but when interviewed she said in the local press that no-one and nothing gets in her way!!! She'll do well then.
SuperMikey Posted 29 March, 2012 Author Posted 29 March, 2012 Bloody hell, how useless is the girls team this year? They all seem f*cking clueless. Going into Amazon and asking them to put in an order for 1m units...absolutely ridiculous! Their product was sh!te as well. Should've fired all 3 imo. The boys actually seem like a pretty slick unit though, they all seem to know what they're doing and I think personally that only ego will put any of them in the firing line in the coming weeks. That idea for the gloves was terrible, but their composter is the perfect product to launch now. The design was spot-on and that wouldn't look out of place in somewhere like John Lewis - trendy metropolitan types would snap those like they were going out of style.
Saint_Jonny Posted 29 March, 2012 Posted 29 March, 2012 I think they may have fired the strongest girl in the first week. At least she knew what she was going on about. I'm glad maria got the push, she was making my skin crawl, that accent, her voice! Jesus christ, what a troll.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 30 March, 2012 Posted 30 March, 2012 I just think the format is slightly wrong since they changed it to an investment. I cant help thinking that Sugar knows whose business idea he wants and wont fire people on the basis of the particular task. That bird fired the other night, shouldn't have gone, but I bet her investment idea was some sort of restaurant as that was all she went on about. Sugar thought, I dont want to invest in a restaurant, so sacked her. Last year was the same that Tom guy was hopeless, lost about 6 tasks running yet Sugar never fired him, turned out he had the best original idea (some curved nail file). It's a bit Dragons Denish for me. If Sugar doesn't want someone to work for him, then it should just be a cash prize or failing that Sgar shouldn't ask for their ideas until nearer the end, I just get the feeling his decisions are being based on stuff other than the tasks and I didn't get that feeleing under the previous format.
Hatch Posted 19 April, 2012 Posted 19 April, 2012 rubbish episode last night I though. Not a good idea for a challenge, and to many 'managed' situations.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 19 April, 2012 Posted 19 April, 2012 It's because Sralan is a xenophobe. And a racist it turns out...
stkev7 Posted 19 April, 2012 Posted 19 April, 2012 The Irish bird and the blonde one are quite fit. Agree on the Irish bird, she was pure filth.
Ken Tone Posted 20 April, 2012 Posted 20 April, 2012 rubbish episode last night I though. Not a good idea for a challenge, and to many 'managed' situations. The criteria for winning were wrong too. The 'winning' team were called that because they took more income, but that ony happened with them promising free space hoppers and other equipment, and the firm that wanted them only paid £17.50 an hour for lots of venues, not the £35 they asked for, so they'd have had to provide loads of equipment. It is likely that their profit would have been much less than the 'losing' team's. They may even have made a loss. I mean, on that basis they could have won by saying "for every hour you take at £17.50 , we'll give you £100 cash in hand."
SuperMikey Posted 3 May, 2012 Author Posted 3 May, 2012 I think it's pretty clear now that Tom is by far the best person in the process. He's really dreamy as well
Whitey Grandad Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 It's not the same now that the fit bird's gone. Not that I ever watch it, of course, far beneath me.
Turkish Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 I think it's pretty clear now that Tom is by far the best person in the process. He's really dreamy as well What would your strategy be Supermikey?!
dune Posted 3 May, 2012 Posted 3 May, 2012 What would your strategy be Supermikey?! He'd impress him with his moves.
SuperMikey Posted 3 May, 2012 Author Posted 3 May, 2012 What would your strategy be Supermikey?! I'm not sure, Tom seems like a hard person to woo. Maybe i'd flash him my wristbands in a seductive manner and see if he goes for it.
